Dont get me wrong I am so in love with ALOT of the new prettyful tameables but was hopeing for a intresting new spirit beast in this expantion. Was wondering if anyone eles was sad too.
Might they be saveing them for a later patch or are we truely getting no new spirit beasts? (Sorry if this thread exsistes all ready some where)

Oh, thank you. I missed this one. Doesnt seem to be any news on what it will be or anything on there but happy that there is something going to be released. Hopeing for a new animal not another cat.

I'm hoping for another Gondria re-skin (or is it re-color?)

I am hoping for something new...not another cat, wolf, bear, crab, owl...something new, like a devilsaur, porcupine, goat, fox (oh gods a fox would be awesome!)...anything really that we don't already have a spirit beast of.

Please give me an opaque spirit beast! I'm so tired of all the ghostly transparent ones, even if I do have a couple of them. And yeah, I'm a little worn out on cat spirit beasts; the cat family already has some of the most skins, they don't need most spirit beasts too. xD

Actually I'm not *certain* that they're coming in 5.1, but I hope they are. They are coming soon, though. Hopefully the dark wine caterpillar is still coming in 5.1 as well.

5.1 is looking like more of a "stuff we didn't have time to get out at release" patch than a new content patch. From what I read I believe they're going to be doing that more. Get out update patches sooner and faster, interspersed with the ones that have new raids and such.

Ever since wrath there has been a little cheer squad for a reptilian Spirit Beast, and I'm still got my pompoms ready for the possibility, that maybe, just one day......

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out before as I've only casually kept up on MoP (I'm not playing WoW currently), but I noticed while digging through the WoWMV that there are two different files of the Xuen/Siberian Tiger God. I've only ever seen Xuen's model shown, personally. When I saw the second one I thought it was just another listing of the same file, but when I clicked it I immediately noticed it was different. I'm wondering if maybe it's like Skoll where he had some more washed out under color versions, but they were included under the same file in MV. It most likely is the base model to the glowy version, but I still like it.

If we do get a Xuen copy, I hope it's this extra file here. While extra glowy kitty is neat and cool looking in his own way, I just absolutely love how the dark blue stripes stand out.


I'm partial to cats, myself, but would love to see more solid spirit beasts like Loque/Skoll. The ghosty spirit beast thing got old real fast on me. A devilsaur, raptor, or warp stalker would be cool if it's not another cat.

I really like that darker model of Xuen and I hope it's one of the new Spirit Beasts. If it is, it may replace Loque as my favorite one. I too am not a fan of the ghostly ones.

If Blizz releases Xuen's model, i hope its not spectral. Its hideous. The model looks a hundred thousand times better opaque. We already have enough spectral SB's xP

No cats. Even Xuen. While he's cool, let the monks keep him.

Like mentioned above, non transparent spirit beast is on my wish list. I'd like to see another unique model like Loque and Arcturis. I personally agree with Veph, I love my dinosaurs (reptiles w/e). Dimentradon, basalisk, crockolisks, mushan are all great choices in my personal opinion.

And dear god, not another Gondria reskin. I hope whoever said that above was joking. Lol.

Oh my god. I hadn't noticed that at all. Funny how you don't notice differences when you assume they're not there I can't wait to get home tonight and check this out!
