There's another armoured raptor to check in KLS: the Gurubashi Raptor. It's also in Zouchin Province, which is the ocean-front area at the north end of the zone.

It's quest phased and only appears during "Enemies at Our Door", so is not to be confused with the Gurubashi Riding Raptor that is present all the time in the same zone.

All the ones I saw were red, which isn't a new colour so it's not very exciting. But it's also a good thing, as it'd be very frustrating if a unique look was locked to a quest phase. Unfortunately I was on my shammy so I couldn't check if they were tameable but it'd still be good to know if someone is about to do that chain. Thanks

I was just there last night and I could have swore I checked the raptors there and I didn't see one that wasn't tameable. I saw different colors of riding ones, or so I thought....

I am already passed that quest so I can't check now... bleh...

Its the raptor that gets ridden headfirst into the village right? I did that quest and checked the tameability thinking they were the red raptors everyone was taming, and they are not. Untameable ^^

Cool, thanks for checking I'll add that to the list of things that could probably be made tameable. Nothing exciting, but can't hurt.

Yes, they're the ones that are ridden by the Bloodriders in the major attack. You have a quest that involves killing the Bloodriders, amongst other mobs.

There were red and orange for sure, but I was so focused on getting to 90 I forgot to see if they were tameable! Sorry!!

I can double confirmed. During the quest I also thought they were the armored ones. xD I tried taming and it failed. So I then rode out during the quest chain to get my own riding raptor. :3 Untameable.

The Gurubashi Riding Raptors (the non-phased, permanent ones on the island) come in both colours. I just didn't realize these still did too.

I tamed a Gurubashi Riding Raptor in the beta by trapping it and it's rider in a freeze trap, taming the Raptor, and then making it kill it's former master. Such fun

I Beast Lored one when I encountered it during questing and can confirm that it's tameable.

The non-phased ones, despite coming in both red and orange, are thankfully NOT colorchangers, so the color you get is the one you keep.

Wait, the Gurubashi Raptor (quest phased, around the village) of the Gurubashi Riding Raptor (not phased, on the island)? Because everyone else has said the former was untameable...
