Small turtle problems...

I apologize if this has already been mentioned!
Anyway, I recently tamed myself a Rankbite Ancient, the only tamable Dragon Turtle with the camo skin and fins. When I tamed him, however, I noticed that he was significantly smaller than my non-elite dragon turtle. I don't think this applies to all finned dragon turtles, but I'm unsure. Anyone know? Either way, very annoying for me- I rather liked my large turtle!

I think small hunter pets are very endearing.

The Seadragons (brown, non-finned turtles) in Krasarang Wilds are also small when tamed. I didn't notice until I tamed another non-finned turtle. I agree on liking my turtles big.
Edit: Actually I just tamed a Rankbite Tortoise just to see how small it was. I gotta admit, it's really cute.
Edit Again: I think it's still making it's ambient noises... or else I'm hearing things. It's like, snuffling or grunting and snorting.

I've noticed the dragon turtle mounts make all sorts of noises if you jump around, it seems the models overall mount/pet/npc seem to be a little noisy/buggy.

So, I wanted to see this myself and headed out their this morning. Here are the pictures I came back with.
First thing I did was tame a Rankbite Tortoise
Which I compared size wise with my Bloodtooth(I haven't figured out a good name for him yet)
Then I tamed an Rankbite Ancient
The Ancient is significantly smaller. There is also a definite growl/groan they do regularly when tamed. Neither Bloodtooth or the Tortoise did it.

Yeah, I meant to say Rankbite Ancient. It was very late and I wasn't sure if it was just me hearing those sounds because I was so dead tired! XD
I'm keeping mine. I think it's cute!

I have to admit, after running around with little bitty turtle for a while, I'm rather fond of the smaller size- I think I even like it more than the large size now. xD

I honestly didn't catch that you wrote tortoise instead of ancient in your post *blushes* I just tamed the tortoise for size comparison, because I was curious how it compared to Bloodtooth's size. I'm not goign to keep mine though he is very cute and honestly a great size. I'm too attached to my, as of yet unnamed, Bloodtooth.
Oh and also the Ancient shrinks down smaller than it's in the wild for anyone else who might be wondering.

Dang. This kind of makes me want to tame one, but I plan on sticking with Terrorpene for my turtle needs. Still, the idea of a smaller turtle has some appeal. It kind of reminds me how much I wished I could tame Runty. He tries so hard after all!
