Apparently this guy talks on click. :3 It's not listed here but I noticed it when a hunter was sitting AFK and I clicked on his jade guardian and it made noises each time I clicked!

That's awesome! More and more pets are getting sounds on click. Hopefully all will eventually. It makes them feel just that bit more responsive and alive. I don't think Mania has done this last list of corrections for Petopia yet (she is about to), so I'll add it.

As Kalli pointed out, a lot, or maybe all, sound on click pets also make sounds when you click on the wild beast but my experience has been only when they're up close. For this reason it's hard to test on aggressive mobs, as they don't seem to do it when they're chewing your face, or it's not as audible or something.

But it does have me going around poking everything to see if it makes a noise now.

Yeah. and by the time you're getting bitten, you're more concerned about getting it off you. XD

I squealed in delight myself when I heard it. I'm surprised no one noticed before now. Maybe the new hotfix put it in. *shrug* I kinda hope all too will get them cause you're right. It makes them more....lively.

Only friendly(eg. green mobs spot for the alliance but can only be tamed by the Alliance) and neutral mobs (yellow, eg. Ash Moth, Dusk Bat) would allow you to guess whether or not they are vocal. Hostile mobs(red eg, Praire Wolf) doesn't give any hints until tamed.

Untrue. Deathmaw barks when clicked in the wild and he is aggressive. As Wain already said above, being in combat with them makes it difficult to tell/disables the sound entirely.

Also Spot can only be tamed by the Horde(or was able. Not anymore, obviously).

Also the Jade Guardians chewed my face so they're aggressive. Also the wolves in Mulgore are aggressive too. Prairie Wolves I believe. And they are on-click barks.

Also, Hissperak (a rare basilisk) hisses when clicked on, a fact I stumbled on entirely by accident.

Then again, his name -is- "HISS"perak.

Ah yes! As well as the basilisks in Ashara(grey/jade).

Yeah, all the others have been logged :) If they're not already noted on Petopia then they should be as soon as the next update occurs.

The only ones I'm not certain on are a few goats. Probably all goats have on-click vocals but some haven't been reported yet:
  • Stout Shaghorn (V4W) - I think it's unreachable till you can fly
  • Furious Goat (KLS) - in the mountains above One Keg
  • Kafa-Crazed Mountain Goat (KLS) -in the mountains above Kota Base Camp
  • Battle Goat (ID 59680) (KLS) - this is the one that appears in random ambush events on the Burlap Trail
  • Battle Goat (ID 60010) (KLS) - this is the one around Knucklethump Hole
  • Battle Goat (ID 60748) (KLS) - I'm actually not sure where this one appears. It seems to be quest phased

I remembered clicking on Deathmaw, Praire Wolf, the wolves from ubrs, jade guardians, none made any sound when click before tamed.

Our point is you can't always tell just by clicking it in the wild. ;) And whether it's aggressive or not doesn't determine anything either.

Which is actually what I said; red mobs; you can't be sure.

Clicking it in the wild doesn't always determine it, is the point. Nothing to do with aggressiveness or neutrality. Jade Guardians make no noise when clicked in the wild (tested on my druid while stealthed but keeping myself from smacking them). :)

It is hostile. That's why I stealthed and turned my back to it so it wouldn't attack me while I clicked it to see if it made noise in the wild and it didn't.

*nods* Not all talkers do so in the wild, but all (that I've seen anyway) that talk in the wild will do so when tamed.

Confirmed on all counts! Made sure to check during Tiller dailies. :)
