I love my army of quilen. I ended up getting Portent in purple, blue and green. Not sure if I want red, but I feel somewhat horrible that I have an army of nameless quilen.

I tried Soldier, King, and a few others (No Jade!?), but I'm not too sure. Maybe Amethyst for the purple one...

My cobalt doesn't have a name yet, but the purple one is Regal o.o Of course, someone who named themself Shade is obviously not very good at picking names (which is odd because Glimmer is Krish and my raptor is Rikkan... but they're the odd ones).

There are lots of nice names for shades of purple and blue o.o Or you could go Jade, Amethyst, Cobalt/Sapphire/Topaz/Lapis Lazuli...

Maybe Knight for one of them if you go with King?

I named Red Portent Madeira for the Madeira Citrine



Mabe try looking up gemstone and going through the colors :3 I found Madeira to be perfect cause its not too red but its not orangy to the point where it reminds me of amber. It compliments the red of the body and the bronzing of the mane

Ooo, thanks. There's so many names that feel like they'd work and I keep running into the reserved list, too...

The Quilen are modeled after the stone guardian lions found around ancient Chinese temples . I found a few names that I think fit them perfectly.

Shishi-- which is Chinese for Stone Lion
Ruishi----Chinese for Auspicious Lion
Fushi-----Fortuitous Lion
Foshi-----Buddha's Lion

They are also known as "Foo Dogs" in western cultures.

I have three of them. The green Portent is Shishi, the Cobalt Portent is Ruishi, and my red organic one is KungPao which may change to KungFoo .

LOL - I tamed the blue Portent a couple of days ago and named him Shishi. Was kinda kewl to see someone else come up with that name.

I have the violet quilen and I named him Tibet.
They look so much like the Snow Lions from Tibet. I went through a couple of Tibetan words, but in the end I liked the sound of just 'Tibet'.

Aren named his green Portent 'Clover'. But.... Aren is traditionally and characteristically bad with names. XD

Jade is blocked but Jade-otherthings usually goes through. Jademane, Jadeclaw, Jadesoforth.

So I know this asks for name help but I just wanna show the names I used anyways

Green-Sempmez
Blue-Bleskra
Red-Poskan

I pretty much had already used skyrim and final fantasy names so I didn't want to use those again so I made up some names :p took quiet some time coz I had to name like 8 pets and other pets had the first letter as their color and I went from there.

Other pets:
Wespera-white water strider (tall)
Paesra-pink basilisk
Loskit-lightning wolf (not skoll)
Amrque-bloodtooth (terrible name looks like a-mr-que needs to be changed haha)
Ah I also had 2 goats I forgot about them didn't like them but names were
Opkiti-malt coloured goat
Opkiki-blue goat

So yeah I had a lot of fun randomly naming them and I like every name cept for bloodtooths lol

Named mine Pappus 'old man', also the technical name for the floofy part of the dandelion, which was what I was originally going to name him

Zuberi I found on a name site for ancient egyptian names and it supposedly means "Strong", Chigaru is from the same site and apparently means "Hound"

Could use some help with this situation myself.

Blue Portent. Love the contrast of the burning-red eyes with the crystalline-looking cobalt skin. Thinking something Chinese-rooted for the name, but not quite sure what.

Named my four Portents after different animals with the nickname ''Bear Dog'', Considering they look like a weird amalgamation of different animals into one that isn't really a Chimera. Brachycyon, Cynodictis, Arctocyon, and Gobicyon are the names.

you all have such amazing names for your Portents! i called my blue one Fluffy. Poor guy.

The first time I tamed Portent, I got the purple one. I sat on it and didn't name him, because I couldn't think of anything appropriate that I really liked. I am a hoarder, so I don't really have spare slots for several Portents, and I really wanted the blue one. So I kept an eye out in the Vale, for tracks. Several times I found tracks, and Portent, but it always came up purple. Eventually, I found him in blue. But after a couple of days, I decided what I really wanted was green. Heheh. Back to hunting. I found purple and blue a few more times, and then eventually red. I let the red one go, hoping another hunter who really wanted that one would find him. And then, it happened. I found him in green. Like others, I realized that naming him Jade wouldn't work. So I set myself to thinking up an appropriate name that the game would take. I finally settled on Serenity.
