The owner didn't tell me this was Chibee, but I'm guessing it is. My guild mates randomly yell out Chibee in a high pitch in vent to get my attention.

I was able to ask this guy what was up with his pet, since any spirit beasts weren't added yet. I thought it was a visual buff or something to the effect. He said it was a glitch as far as he knew because it was just an elite exotic pet. As Chibee is the only yellow that is an elite, what happened here? I wanted to ask some more, but my internet bugged out and disconnected me for a moment.

When I grabbed my adorable 'little' worm, the name did say worm. I tamed another just to double check. Chibee switched to worm. So I am still a bit puzzled.

Oh nevermind. >.< I looked at the armory and saw what happened. It's my xperl being weird. A new pet will keep the name of the previous pet. He must have switched out his spirit beast that was never renamed for Chibee. That is not nearly as much fun to ponder.

It aint a glitch. They let us keep tameable caterpillars and just put them in the "worm" species. And I love Chibee's immense size.

Oh I love the size too! I like to keep guildies in line by telling them not to make Chibee mad. That pet under bestial wrath is so funny.

Chibee is the only one that remains huge. That may be fixed in 5.1 but I'm not certain. He's certainly very cute at that size, but often very impractical. He gets in the way of everything. Stands on your loot. He's a big doofus.

More likely, the hunter used Stampede and his Chibee picked up his unnamed Spirit Beast's name.

Yeah, I know it's not an X-Perl bug. I use ElvUI and I get it too. I just dismiss and resummon my pet and Tempest is no longer named Krish. But the name change isn't just unit frames. It's the tag over their head as well. xD So it seems most plausible that it's a Stampede thing. I wouldn't know personally, I glyphed out of random Stampede.

I dont have any unit frame mods, or well, anything in general that revolves around players and NPC's and i get the bug
