I am a 90 hunter. I am fairly geared, but certainly not geared for LFR yet. ilvl 447. Now, has any hunters soloed BWL? If so, are you willing to give me any tips or pointers?

It's doable but tricky only because of the first boss.

The only thing is that you'll need at least one other person for the first boss as I'm fairly certain the mind control/egg mechanic is impossible to solo due to mechanics. After that I imagine it would be feasible.

According to some, you can solo the first boss....least as a druid anyway cause you can heal him or something. Soloing him sounds like a PITA either way. XD

As soon as your mind control ends he becomes hostile and you cannot heal him - the first figth is impossible to solo

I got my Chromaggus, Jury, solo (no pet, nobody else, just me). The first fight is TRICKY, but it's certainly not impossible. I did it freshly dinged 85 with my hunter several months ago at a gear level of 312 (not that gear should be an issue anyway).

You need dismiss any pet you have with you, then you need to disengage off the shelf up onto the roof of the alcove when the adds come in, but make sure you have aggro on Razorgore before you jump-disengage up onto the small roof, then go to the back of the alcove up there and wait for the adds to go back to their spawn points. Jump down, and when the adds come in the 2nd (and final) time do the same jump-disengage maneouvre. Once the adds go back in, they will not respawn, so you're free at this point to kill the controller (I did), then mind control Razorgore to the end of the encounter. It's handy to have a turtle/beetle ready to be called in when all the eggs are down so you can tank n spank Razorgore to death.

Looks like it'll be a bit of a guild run xD

several patches back, 4.1 or so, i have solod this entire place many many times at 85 using the bug for Razorgore. Youtube has a bunch of vids of it to if you search "hunter solo razorgore."

Honestly, once i figured out how to do the bug, soloing Ebonroc through his healing was the hardest part.

chrommagus is hilarious to solo with 2 pieces of tier 5, but once i got the loot i had off him i wanted, i just tamed to continue the instance >>
