Level your mining/herb proff until level 18, voila, you will learn second pet summon so you can dismiss your turtle (if you love it) and tame another one; tiger, tiny crane or vocal moth!

Sounds like too much work to me when you can get the pandaria pets that are identical to the ones from wandering isle later on.

No, it's not too much work. It's actually profitable as well. And, there are 2 pets are exclusive to Pandaria; Tiny crane and vocal moth.

I can get a crane from pandaria(normal sized. The tiny size will probably get hotfixed because of pvp eventually) and I like my moth being silent since...well...moths don't really make much noise to begin with. ^^; Just a personal preference(It's fine if someone else wants to level that slowly in the starter area). Copper doesn't sell for anything on my server cause there's so much of it. So not profitable either.

I prefer tiny size pets and I prefer vocal pets. To each, his/her own, it's a matter of taste. On my server, a lot of old world mats sell for very high pricers due to many rerollers.

This is just for those who want to go above and beyond for their pets that they feel attached. Until blizz put in a stable master on the island that is.

I wish they would put a stable master cause I didn't wanna abandon my turtle but I don't wanna sit there til 18 either. D:

Oooh I might do that when I finally get around to lvl'ing a panda hunter. I want the crane and Pandaria tiger to have while lvl'ing!

I may do this with my baby panda hunter. If I do, I will only do it with rest bonus xp!

the starter area crane, tiny or not, is also the only crane you can get pre-level 85. at least, I think it is.
soon as I hit level 10, I scooted back to the beginning of the starter area and tamed myself a crane.
I don't care for the turtle much, so it wasn't an issue for me. although those starter area tigers ARE pretty.
the crane was more important to me.

there are no stablemaster on the isle... darn.. i want both a foofy tiger and a tiny crane.. but i dont want to linger there until lvl 18 ><

Actually, it wouldn't be that bad. I stayed there on my mage until 15 just to survive the end battle (tiny mage goes squish) Another few levels wouldn't have taken too long. My only issue was bag space and having to sell stacks of herbs and ore to vendors to make room.

Just a heads up, with Triple EXP From RAF, I was easily level 15.5 I think by the time I was about to choose my allegiance

I must be obsessive compulsive or something...
all my pandas were over level 12 when I got off the Turtle... and no recruit-a-friend, no heirlooms, no guild perk.

Somehow, the rng smiled upon me and 4 bags dropped for my panda while leveling on the wandering isle.
