So Spot the Dog used to be in Theramore, but then it got blown up. We see the wreckage of his doghouse, but he is nowhere to be found! Well, today in the Valley of Four Winds, I found a Lost Dog with a quest for me. The quest is called "Lost and Lonely" and you have to bring it some Mushan steaks. After you feed the dog, he follows you back to your farm and is renamed to "Dog." He looks exactly like Spot and makes the same noise if you click him. If this truly is Spot, I'm glad I have a safe place for him to stay.

He even responds to some emotes! You can do /love, /pet, /kiss, and /bark to get a response.

Ohh that would be good news.. hated theramor scenario because of the ruined doghouse

I went and tamed Spot before the scenario to "save" him, but, if he's ok, that makes my day He got blown clear to Pandaria, poor pup, but he made it!

Can't find the dog, someone had posted he was revered with Tillers, is that necessary?

According to some of the comments on Wowhead it becomes available midway through Revered. I'm not really sure if that's the case since I've been above that for a few days now. However, this was also the first day I had the dailies to burn the ropes, kill the goats for their meat, and kill the hunter chief. It may be tied to those for some reason as well.

AWESOME! I have spot tamed on my hunter and will never let her go! (Probably initially meant to be a he, but he's a she in my book!)

Where does he show up? I am almost half way threw revered and would love to give him a home on the farm

You should spot him over the the Heartland pretty soon; he has a quest for you.

He's sitting between two boulders just west of Halfhill. Once you have the proper rep, the yellow ! is really easy to spot, no pun intended.

how the hell did he get to pandaria? did the bomb blast send him flying across the planet? how did he land without splat factor? is he actually a dragon in disguise?

Potential "Jaina Proudmore: Tides of War" Book Spoilers:

Despite what the scenario leads you to believe, townspeople got evacuated from Theramore before the bomb hit (I wont go into too many details about it) I like to believe that Spot got evacuated too =D

I got him today on my farm

I reckon he got on a boat leaving Theramore before the blast and ended up stowing away on a boat that found itself in the Pandaria expedition fleet

Made my own story with him using my druid. :3

Jetfyre Moonclaw was flying from Halfhill to delivery some food she had cooked personally to the other farmers around the valley. Her sharp 'birds eye' caught a glimpse of something. Stopping in one of the fields, she swooped down and morphed from her violet raven form. Looking around, she heard a soft whimper and moved towards a small space between some boulders. Inbetween these rocks was a familiar blonde furred canine. He looked terribly skinny but despite his condition, he offered a weak greeting.



"Poor thing...." the druid frowned, kneeling to pet his head. "Shhh.....it's going to be okay.....stay here. I will hunt some food for you." The dogs ears perked at the mention of food, his eyes full of hope. In the blink of an eye, she morphed back into her violet raven form and took off. Jetfyre made her way to the highest peaks of the valley and spotted some fresh Skyrange Mushan and immediately set to work. Morphing into cat form, she took down the large beasts one by one, then carefully carving out their meaty bits to create steak-like slabs. Once she felt she had plenty of meat, she tied up the bloody slabs and made her way back to the starving canine.



Shifting out of her violet bird-like form once more, she untied the slabs of meat. "Hey boy, I'm back and I've got something special for you." She grinned.



As he ate his fill, Jetfyre stroked his dirt clotted head soothingly. Amber eyes gazed over the dog. He looked so familiar, like she had seen him before. Her eyes widened as it dawned on her. "Spot?!" The dog responded immediately to the name. Could it be true? Her friend from Theramore lived?! Tears came to the druids eyes from the joy that swelled within her. Slowly, the dog came to his feet and let out a happy bark before taking off in the direction of Sunsong Ranch.



Her body shapeshifted to that of a beautiful snow white stag with druidic markings and she took off after him. "Wait up, Spot!" The canine didn't slow down. He had a destination in mind. Skidding to a hault, she found herself back at the farm she helped make with Yoon. Morphing back, she approached Farmer Yoon. "Excuse me, Yoon, but, have you seen a dog come through here?" Yoon chuckled, pointing just behind the stairs. "You mean that one? He just ran here, greeted me, and now wanders around here." Jetfyre smiled, approaching Spot, whom greeted her with cheerful barks, even going a little dance for her. The druid chuckled and hugged him. "I'm so happy to have you back Spot. Farmer Yoon, would it be alright if he stayed with us here?" The Pandaren looked at her with a grin. "Not at all! A working dog could be of use around the farm." Jetfyre looked to Yoon and nodded. "We'll make sure he gets the proper care from now on." She giggled as Spot licked her face affectionately before running off a little to chase some virmen on the farm. "Good boy, Spot.....Good boy." Jetfyre watched on with a smile.



Spot had a new home and more friends than he could ever imagine. As the sun set on that day, Spot came up beside Jetfyre and sat close. Offering her hand to pet him, he nudged his head under her hand, yearning for attention. With a gentle smile, she whispered. "Welcome home, boy."

Love the story, Jetfyre, brought a smile to my face.

Junrei, what is that beautiful add on you use to make the map and all your goodies on the bottom and look so clean and neat?

And is Spot only a alliance quest?

That would be SpartanUI, my dear. It's my favorite UI addon. :3 puts everything right where I want it and looks nice too.

I'm not sure. That's a very good question.
