Can we please avoid using fate, which is a tremendously telling word, in the titles of spoiler threads? I would appreciate it very much. Just "Vol'jin and the Darkspears" would be enough, I'd think.

*Garrosh sends Vol'jin off to the Veiled Stair I guess and has the Kor'kron ambush and poison him. Someone does some kind of acupuncture I guess to save him, because his regeneration isn't doing well due to the poison. We then find Thrall and get to the Echo Isles where the Kor'kron are openly attacking the trolls since Garrosh considers them a threat.

Im also pretty sure Vol'jin, when his speech comes up in the chatbox, says 'Darkspear' not 'Darkspeah'. The accent slur of the latter is usually voice only iirc so no one gets confused when interacting with the characters or events in the game.

Edit: The page didnt update me to the posts made between Cow's and this one, i clicked the link, its far too sketchy though for me to tell what happens to Vol'jin. its just words right now.. it can go in any direction.. we'll have to wait till we get the full story for proper context and/or visual for proper context

RP wise my troll would be greatly affected by this turn of event and he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

The 5.1 board is supposed to talk about events and changes in 5.1, not so people can roleplay :/ thats for the appropriate boards. If it isnt a discussion about upcoming quests/events/changes regarding Vol'jin and/or the Darkspear which is the title of the thread, then theres no discussion to be had.

I had to edit my post to include a few other relevant discussions this patch 5.1 board can talk about..

So long as the discussion is about real changes coming in 5.1 or speculation (so yes you can guess what may happen), not made up lore (what is being done here. this is not speculation or fact, its completely made up an giving off the appearence that what is being RP'd is really happening in the 5.1 PTR atm), be it quests, events, changes to the darkspear and/or vol'jin (such as the possibility of a rising conflict between vol'jin and garrosh) then its appropriate for the patch board.

I would like to see more in regards to the quest line taking place, if theres more to be had, because im fond of Vol'jin and the events in cata for the troll start zone were quite interesting when he and garrosh duked it out verbally. But i would appreciate it of it was non-RP speculation/fact and if possible, but doesnt have to be included for eeeeeverything, sourced links and/or screenies and/or quotes.

We dont need 2 threads up for the same topic so if this one can change course to a proper information thread, that'd be much appreciated.

Well he isn't entirely wrong, although he got extremely confusing. I'm thrilled to see a topic about the trolls and this is for 5.1 so technically is allowed had it only stayed on topic from the getgo. The other quest thread is about the new hubs on Pandaria, not quests in specific or events.

There is a questline where the Kor'kon attempt to assassinate Vol'jin by the Veiled Stair(or at Sen'jin. I forget which). I think Chen helps him with acupuncture but Vol'jin is still badly hurt and tells you to go get Thrall. You go get Thrall and he comes back to the Darkspear Isle. At this point, the Kor'kon have taken over the island and are practically forcing the trolls to do whatever they tell them to. Thrall tells you to help liberate them because the trolls are family as much as any orc is. So yeah...Thrall kinda ticked about all this. We help liberate the island.

I think I summed it up. Vol'jin will survive but Garrosh just signed his death certificate with that one.

This would of been a better thread if the op had stated what it was about in the first post instead of rping it. It only got confusing because of the rp. XD

So that is a real questline? Woo~ Since it was told in RP i didnt think it was real, good to know I wonder how they're gonna tackle the confrontation with Garrosh. And how are the orcs going to react to eachother when those loyal to garrosh go toe to toe with those who are aligned with thrall. Are they going to have a bloodbath? Will any political efforts be made to reprimand garrosh? Or are they just going to either exile him or have a duel to the death? Or er, possibly re-assignment?

Im just as interested in how the orcs are gonna work this out as seeing how the trolls questlines gonna be conducted. I hope vol'jin becomes a more prominent character, he seems to have been mostly on the back burner for years. Also wondering if thrall will return to be warchief or if a vote will be cast.
