As some of you might know I´ve just started a human huntress.

This is a journal of her pets once tamed. Xinia´s pet stable will have a flower/plant themed stable and i thank all of those who help me make up my minds for the names.

As Xinia isn´t my first priority she will probally lvl slowly but i enjoy playing her when i need something else then highlvl hunters - so her pet journal wont update frequently - just when i play on her and tame a new pet;)

I hope you will enjoy reading my pet journal as much as i enjoy making them

Her first tame is the black worg from the human starting area. Her name is Lobeira.

Traveled all the way up to Tirisfall glade on a 1 person ground mount (and MANY thanks to my beloved husband who puts up daily with me going on and on and on about pets and mounts and minipets ). We havent been able to afford a flying one yet.

The reason for this mad project? The vocalized bat - meet Abies Quite an achivement imo to get him at lvl 10 without a 2 person flying mount

He is named after a fir (Xinia´s stable theme is plants/flowers) and i thought it fitting cause of the quest where you have to scare bats to drop guano.. and they are high in the fir trees.. for some reason it made sence to me - and its an additional bonus that the name resemble rabies

Dionaea






And Dionaea is a very fitting name - thanks for the suggestion! - Im pleased to have a ravager again.

Oh, that is a good name for a ravager!

4th addition is the pretty gray monkey Silene named after the flower Silene fimbriata. Also the name reminds me of Silence and i think it fits for this VERY noise little cutie

She is a female monkey and i soloed at lvl 28 to get her which was way easier then i thought

a week in an infirmary with a bad leg. I twisted the leg and hurt something inside. Still waiting for scanning results to show what it is.

Can only sit for 20 min at a time

so this time the 20 min went to catch Yushania, my clever raptor girl





She is named after a green plant ; migth even be some sort of bamboo

I hit lvl 35 and then it was time for some barrens tame

First off Azelea

Next Delphinium





the flower he is named after :





and last but not least Orchid

I'm rather fond of that beetle, have it on many of my alts!

"And all the day long he'd a wonderful view
Of geraniums (red) and delphiniums (blue)"

I just renamed the Beetle to Orchid.. i found it more fitting since the orchid is both purple AND green

The only brown bear at Xinias lvl is the rare bear in Elvyn forrest. I was lucky it was up when i first came to the spot





But Alas the moment i went off my mount a lvl 90 mage flew down and killed the bear





This happended a couple of times but finally i was able to tame him wihtout having a high lvl kill him just before my nose

Tilia; named after this bush/small tree

But otherwise a pretty girl which i think fit really well with Xinia

The pictures doenst do her justice - she is STUNNING - and i just thinkt the name fits her so well

Abricots favorit pet is Prune, Tårnfalk´s is Müsli

For Xinia it is Rose It is her this whole thread is named after (A rose by any other name would smell as sweet)












Also managed to grap Trachymene - always wanted this skin on a wasp and she just fit the name

quite a few new pets this time around - i piled them up so i dont post too often i love doing these pet journals and i hope you enjoy seeing them

Juniper - i adore cata crocs look and this one fits really well with my theme stable








Snowdrop - new addition.. foxes are cute










Ivy - as in poison Ivy.. lovely lady scorpid with a name that im really pleased with










The last addition Acacia im very iffy about.. was looking forward to the green bird.. but i have no bond with her so thats not a perfect tame.. but maybe i grown on her.. for now she gets to stay

Hit lvl 69 so loads of tames this time around too.. this btw will be the last post until we get more pet stables after this one Xinia only has 3 spots left


Anyway first off meet Laelia

Funny thing is.. in RL i HATE spiders but i like them in wow.. eventhough they still scares me








Zelkova - i am soo sure this cute litte green boy is from Russia.. his name sound russian to me - eventhough he is named after a bonsai tree








Rhexia - i have never bonded with a netherway before but this cutie just won my heart. DId the whole quest line in Hellfire with her. Very pleased and sheis defo one of my favorite pets








Jasione - always wanted one of these cute blue worms. Just tamed her so no real bond yet but she does look very cute - and i love the color








And finally my current quest buddy Larch- Name after a big tree - but also cause i think its funny that the name remind me of Lurch the butler from the adams family. My big pet makes me feel safe and it feels like he is very protective of me.. and he gives great shade when its hot outside

Laelia is a beautiful name. And you're making me think of switching spiders Yet Again.
