Katie the rat (pics!)

Just adopted a new rat from the SPCA for my himilayan/dumbo cross, Tamika ^^
Now with pics!
We dont have a cage so we've housed her in a large carrier which is doing very well as a temporary cage until we can determine whether she and Tamika can live together or if she will need a seperate cage entirely. Unfortunately some animals can bond and be together in a cage, but others can be bonded but require seperate cages. We're hoping she'll be able to live with Tamika inside the cage.
She cant get through the front grate and as you can see in the pics, the air holes arent large enough either for her to escape. She is doing very well and doesnt seem to be phased in the slightest at the transition. She's getting lots of attention for exercise and to help her bond with me.
Katie is about 3 months old, so we're dubbing her birthday on August 1st and Tamika is now a year old
Im excited to begin the process of bringing them together Katie is an active ball of joy and is so curious about everything going on around her. She just has to touch everything that comes near her xD
