Hey guys,
I hope everyone who lives on the NE side of the United states is safe and sound, my prayers are with you!

Since I'm going to be offline, I've been trying to work on a story for my future mage/hunter named Lady Yunas, and she is going to be based on Lady Yuna from Final Fantasy X/X-2, BUT I'm having trouble getting ideas to come. How do you make such wonderful stories for your characters? If I may ask, could I have some suggestions on what could help me get stories started for my future toon or for my main?

Well, since your working from an established character already, look at her character, her personality, what happened in her past to make her the way she is? See if there is anything there that you might be able to convert to WoW situations.

Like SIN...Sin could be Deathwing, or any member of an evil flight, re-occurring and constantly fought off by "summoners" or in WoW terms, hunter with exceedingly strong bonds to her animals.
Even the animals themselves can have back-stories related to their FF counterparts, and how your character acquired them can be part of her back-story.

What about her family? who are they, where are they, what happened to them? When did that happen?

Remember the Who, why, where, when & How.

Not all of it needs to come out at once, I find my characters tend to start taking on a life of their own as I interact with other people in RP settings.

Its always good to write down key notes about what you want of your character, or things you might want to have/had happen to her.

Makoes is right. Nothing helps to 'flesh out' an rp character like devising at least a skeleton of ideas, past and current, then trying out some rp. Esp with friends that you can bounce things off of. As you rp you'll find things begin to take shape. Get your skeleton together, then come up with a simple 'quest' sort of story to be on. Nothing necessarily major, just something to interact by, and start an rp. Have some friends join your character on the quest, either at the start, or by stumbling upon them as your character goes.
