Why are there no KC proc?

Is KC is that good that it doesn't merit any kind of proc like Explosive Shot or Aimed Shot?
I would love if KC get a 'Rabies' type of proc that would infect a nature damage dot disease that scales with weapon damage.

KC hits like a truck all on its own, lol. It's also meant to be sent off pretty much on cooldown.

It hits hard but not "like a truck" any more. It never is the top damaging ability for my pet in a fight any more. It even struggles to come in second. The plain melee attack is always the highest in total damage done. It would be nice for it to have a proc where it could be used an extra time with no cooldown or focus useage. Of course then it would get nerfed and hit even less like a truck. Perhaps a small SUV

It hits already very hard as it is. I get most of my crits from that.

Maybe Beast Mastery not having a proc is done on purpose so the three specializations have a different feel. Marksmanship and Survival already have procs so maybe Blizzard thought giving Beast Mastery one too would make it too similar to the others. I have no proof of this but it makes sense to me.

That's very true but it doesn't proc nearly as much as it used to.

No, it doesn't but it's also not quite used the same way either. Not something to mindlessly hit. Gotta be timed.
