Xuen
Hi All,
First time poster here. I've been trolling petopia as long as i can remember since the Wrath days. I never posted because i had nothing what so ever to contribute, so just been lurking only. but i saw something today that stomped me. I know there suppose to be a spirit beast being added in patch 5.1, but i could have sworn i saw someone on my server besides a xuen look alike right next to him. I was pretty far and that pet/thing was at the limit because it disappeared when i went in another direction doing dailies in Cloud serpent area.
has anyone seen Xuen type critters lurking anywhere?

Only level 90 monks can cast that, and thats a talent, it only benefits Brewmasters and Windwalkers, so thats prob why you havent found very manySchizoid wrote:I thought i was going crazy. Thanks! strange thing i've been playing on a daily basis but never saw a single monk call one.

A lot of mistweavers use it too. :3 Xuen not only fights but he heals with Mistweavers if I recall. My guildie uses that one.Jadein92 wrote:Only level 90 monks can cast that, and thats a talent, it only benefits Brewmasters and Windwalkers, so thats prob why you havent found very manySchizoid wrote:I thought i was going crazy. Re: Xuen
I'm really hoping we get a tameable version. If we do it will most likely be a Spirit Beast.

Re: Xuen
If you read his tooltip he does not heal, just dps' and taunts for
brewmasters.

Brewmaster
Xuen will also taunt the target, forcing it to attack him.

Re: Xuen
According to Wowhead, Xuen procs Eminence healing that you get from placing a Jade Serpent statue. If this is true then Xuen would be good for phases which need extra damage as well as providing extra healing.
It has a relatively long cooldown but it also lasts 45 seconds which is pretty good. It doesn't require any Chi that Rushing Jade Wind does or moving around (which at times isn't possible) that Chi Torpedo needs.
My monk isn't high enough to test this out myself, but Xuen seems to be good for Mistweavers if it does heal through Eminence healing.

Hmm interesting. You think there would be something in the tooltip about it xD thanks for the info, and defiantly something for me to consider trying.Jeanne wrote:According to Wowhead, Xuen procs Eminence healing that you get from placing a Jade Serpent statue.
