I have just started the quests for Lion's Landing and I notice that the Horde hunters are using good old volley as a attack, the hunter AOE that rain down arrows from the sky, which was removed in the begging of Cata. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT0TChTwuv4, What could this mean for the future of hunters?

There's still npc's that use volley. So unless they are players you see using it, I wouldn't get excited. If they are players.. Well then let's throw a welcome home party!

Yeah NPC's are never subject to class changes or the good old nerfbat. Actually, though, I don't miss volley that much since I dislike channeled abilities. (except for tame beast of course).

Yeah, I've seen other NPC's using it. We still have to pay attention to use our AoE. ;P

have not seen any other NPCs using it so thought it was unique. Funny part is the Horde Hunters use guns to fire arrows.

I adjusted the title a little by adding "(for NPCs)" to the end. So people don't get too excited. But it's well spotted anyway

I would love if they would bring it back and make it like DnD but for hunters.

Subetai uses Volley in Mogu'shan Vaults (in a much different form than we're used to), so I wouldn't be too terribly excited. XD

I use barrage nowadays despite the rare random unwanted agro cause dby stray bullets. Having said, I very much dislike to channel cast and I only tolerate barrage because it makes me feel like a gattling-gun-wielding Tinker!

But I do however wish BM's beast cleave is a real cleave, lol
