Today after I hit lvl 90 on my hunter and managed to un-phase the Vale for Portent taming I've tried to find myself a green skin. I've tracked him down four times now and every time it's been a red skin. Is there any documented data on the skin spawning chance? Does some of the skins pop up more often than others or am I just a person with really dumb luck?

I'd love to hear what kind of experiences others have had with "colour luck" on Portent.

Depending on your server's population (and the timing), those could have all been the same Portent. I've definitely seen that on my low pop server.

The spawn probabilities are completely even and random. Hopefully you'll get lucky!

The first one I tamed myself, then found someone else to tame the rest as to make sure it couldn't be the same mob spawn each time! My realm is rather low population at the moment and I doubt there are more than a few enthusiastic pet hunters around. I was indeed keeping this in mind while making sure the spawn is reset.

I've seen the green 4 times, the red 3, the blue once and purple 2 times. I like to flare him just to check

I see him up every time I'm in the zone, myself! The color, though, seems pretty much random. I've seen purple only once compared to the other colors at least two times each, but that's definitely not a large enough sample to really draw any conclusions from!

My server, too, is pretty quiet, especially when it comes to pet-hunting hunters. Just not that many people after them. Or, for that matter, even with knowledge of their existence.

I was curious about Portent's color spawns and tracked him for a while. He's always up on my server, and seems to respawn in just 30 min. after taming. I saw green all the time, with red being the second most frequent. Blue I saw a few times, and purple only once. I still think it's completely random though.

Found Red once...hour later, found Green.

Well... They are four colors, so the normal thing to think is that each color has a 25% chance of appearing.

I tracked him once and saw he was the blue/purple one and just left and checked back the next day and saw he was the same color. I was about to leave when I thought that maybe no one tamed the last one I saw and this is the same and wont change until someone tames it. So I tamed it and released it. Did this 2 more times until I finally tamed the Jade one. Its just a game, tame and release till you get the one you want.

I saw 4 green ones in a row, I rehomed all of them, so it can't have been the same. Then came one purple (rehomed it too), a blue (tamed it) and a red (tamed it too). Now when I check I find all different colors. I had purple, red and green so far again.

My experience: 3 blues (one tamed by me), 1 red (tamed by someone), 1, purple (tamed by someone), 1 green (tamed by me). Green was what I was looking for, so I stopped looking after that

I've been looking for Red, to no avail, over the last week.

1: Green
2: Green
3: Blue
4: Green
5: Blue
6: Purple
7: Green
8: Blue

I tame and release when I find them, no other hunters seem to be interested in them when I ask.
Maybe Red will pop up sometime soon.

I look everyday since I reached 90, o far I saw 1 Red, 3 Greens and 1 blue
( I tamed the blue one)

I've found him once (yesterday) and he was green (luckily for me that's the one I wanted the most u////u')
.. but someone told me that everytime he warps traveling through the zoned out areas he changes colors. I really /really!/ don't think this is true, but if it is maybe that has something to do with it?

He doesn't change colors once spawned.
