Support the Red Cross’s Superstorm Sandy Response relief efforts and adopt a Cinder Kitten when this fiery feline arrives in the Blizzard Store later this year. Your support will enable the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support, and other assistance to survivors of disasters like Superstorm Sandy with 100% of the $10 USD adoption fee during this charity drive going toward this worthy cause
.

Awww, so great to see blizzard taking this path again with this new little guy (SO Cute!!! XD) I was probably gonna get it anyway, but now I feel even less guilty... Hell I might even get a couple with 100% going to the charity :)

Blizzard had my money already, the second they debuted this little fella as a companion pet!

Knowing that 100% of the proceeds will be going to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy makes the deal all that much more sweeter :D

Had they not done a charity for it I would have passed on it.. but I think I can justify getting it for charity. I bought the Hippogryph Hatchling for the Japan tsunami relief even though I didn't care for the model. This guy's atleast cute.

Huge Respect for Blizz for those actions, even more for donating full 100%.

I'm only a little bit concerned about where this help goes to. While I don't deny that US has been hit hard, it is a relatively rich country. But Sandy has made quite a mess in Caraibean, too. They don't have neither as many news broadcasts to have their problem globally known, nor other unaffected states to help them, though. I really hope part of this money will go to them as well.

The US is in terrible economic strife, we are in a severe debt crisis. At this point I would say we are far from rich (as a whole) :)

As someone who was hit by the hurricane, though I personally had minor damage done as opposed to pretty much anything around me, including everything I loved about living in a coastal state (all my childhood boardwalks decimated), I'm happy to see this going towards such a cause. To help my neighbors I will definitely be getting one of these for myself and fiance. I love when they have drives like this because it's a win-win; awesome toy with the reward of knowing you helped someone in need.

That's why I've said -relatively- wealthy, comparing to Caraibean countries like Haiti or Cuba for example ;)

Well the US and Canada both donate so much help to other countries its not even funny. I don't see why blizzard can't help out at home for once.

Also I need this kitty. o:

So sweet. :D Unfortunately, as I don't even have the money for mists, not going to be able to get this. xD

Unless I find a job miraculously soon. xD

Though the "at a later time" bothers me. They kind of need the money now. Lol.

Also: I don't see it anywhere stating that the help only goes to the US. The Red Cross is helping all places hit by Sandy, not just the US. It goes to reason the money will go to all places, not just the US.

I think this was a wonderful idea by Blizzard! I certainly will be doing my part to help by purchasing one for myself and a few for friends. :D
