Maybe Lonesome George wasn't the last?

Ran into this via a friend on Facebook while catching up. Didn't see anything here about it right off but if it's been mentioned, please delete this topic. I just loved the idea of Lonesome George and if there is even a shred of hope for a species, I want to see it work. Cross your fingers that we might not have lost them forever.
