just wondering how many people are gonna tame the white arcane worm

now how do we tame him...i cant seem to find a place close enough to get the tame off any ideas?

First one I accidentally one shotted, then was told I stole it from x-person even though there were oh, four folks looking around at them. Found another I think perhaps it was a ''low'' one as per the video, adjusted my distracting, popped it, fell, & tamed & hearthed.

I popped Tranquilizing Shot on a low one and prayed I was low enough not to die...barely managed it. I may check out the other colors, but the white is definitely a beauty!

I tried to tame it-- oneshot it by accident, and then my network crashed ::headdesk:: So now I have to do the work thing and THEN come back and try and figure what will NOT kill with one shot and try again... oysh...

They are LOVELY though, aren't they?

Just tamed this gorgeous white serpent. pretty easy to get, took off all my gear, and used scatter shot to pull him from the air. landed with about 13k hp and tamed away.

Got him after a bit of a learning curve using the tame on the under spire of a platform method. Ran around with him some and then had to trade him in for a blue one.

I'm a biology teacher, and the way he moved reminded me of something and was bothering me. When I realized it was how much the movement and whiteness reminded me of a reproductive cell.... Well I couldn't unsee it. I was alternatively cracking up and embarrassed by him.

I really want the red, but shall stick with the blue for now till CRZ stops putting me in that cave with about ten other camping hunters. Ugh!

The white was pretty while idle, but the run animation killed me....

I took off my gear. I unequipped my weapon. I punched it, landed and tamed.

After about an hour trying to figure out how the hell to get one that flies higher up (but absolutely nowhere near ground, not even a safe fall) in the south area, i found one which was flying lower down, which i was able to successfully kill at least once back in Wrath, but despite removing all my gear and leaving my ranged, my ranged was too strong and i insta killed it and then died myself cause i couldnt disengage (left combat cause it died)... took absolutely forever for it to respawn, i sat there watching the higher up one troll me for about half an hour till i saw the lower one again and i equipped my skinning knife, flew over to it, stabbed, fell, and tamed XD

I tamed the white. The other colors I didn't care for.. well maybe the blue, if it was duller. But the white is def the one.

It seems the only white one you can tame is the one down south that flys low, all the others end up evade bugging.

I got the white one by using a stopcast macro to stop me from accidentally killing it:

/cast Distracting Shot
/stopcasting

This will cast distracting shot and then stops you from auto-attacking. I flew just within range, dismounted, used the macro, then fell the short distance to the ground and hit tame.

Exactly the way I did it too

When I tamed mine, they would spawn from the ground and fly up, I managed to get mine right from the ground.

I originally didn't mean to tame any of these, but the moment I saw the white one while looking for the blue whelpling battle pet in the area, I just had to have one.

I perched on some of the decoration of the elevator over to the southwest (I think) and hit one with Tranq Shot, clicked off immediately, then jumped down and tamed. Pretty white thing! <3

I equipped a low level bow and tried it on *several* but they would either die or evade. I eventually found a low flying one, cast autoshot, canceled, then tamed.

Tranquilizing Shot will aggro them, but won't do any damage. If you have trouble with killing them, try that!

Just be careful that your next autoshot doesn't kill it. Now that you can shoot on the move, the whole hop to interrupt your shots thing doesn't quite work. Which is why I went with kick kick punch pun-- err, punch, dive, tame.
