Plauged-Protodrake on BMAH - Confirmed.

I'm completely torn on this.
I didn't play in Wrath.
I fought to have them put these back in the intended way to obtain them with the meta because it made no sense for their removal with the others being intact.
Why the hell should only people with gold-caps get this?
People are already transferring to lower-population realms to cap out Invincible, Mimiron's Head and Onyxia.
It's going to be a lot worse with this considering it's a removed mount - Hell. People who'd be able to afford it on their own realms have a good chance of missing out if somebody from another realm transfers before they see it.
My sub was already canceled prior because I needed to pay with time-cards but I'm fairly certain if this doesn't at least proc at a half-decent rate I might not add more time. Completely disgusting behavior on Blizzard's part.

Wow, really? It's on BMAH? >.< That's… dumb. I mean, I understand putting rare mounts on BMAH, even discontinued ones like the old ZG ones because those are harder to place somewhere else. But that meta achieve would be EASY to put back in, and it's not like it would be any easier to get that than the Ulduar ones. Ugh.
At least the price is fairly low, but that's still dumb.

I'd argue the ZA/ZG mounts could be placed in a Caverns of Time version of the instance.
Something I've been fighting for myself.
Makes a lot more sense than catering to a literal 1%.
(A group I've been heavily involved with - even if I'm not rich myself. Funny enough - They all quit due to the BMAH or PvP imbalance.)
If they wanted to keep these rare they could at least have the mounts drop off Kel'thuzad at 1% while requiring the Meta to see it if it does drop.

I've been trying to check the BMAH everyday to see what mounts, if any, get put up. I've seen TCG ones such as the turtle mount(not the achieve one) and even raid mounts, but I've not seen removed from the game ones yet. I was wondering if they would make an appearance and I'm actually kind of happy that they ARE back in the game even if it's not in an easily obtainable way. First they have to appear on the BMAH, then you actually have to win the bid on it. I have to agree somewhat on the disappointment of them being put in the BMAH, but again.. I am just happy to see they are still obtainable.
I always wanted the tiger mount from ZA(or was it ZG? I forget), but I was never able to actually get it before the removal of the instances and I was always very bitter about that. The raptor as well as it's the only raptor available for Alliance side. Yeah, they put them back in.. but they changed the models. A plain black panther was added in place of the tiger which really made me upset.

I don't see this as fair at all... :/ I mean, I'm terrible at making gold! And I don't have the time for it either.
Yet I'm a mount collector and I don't think making discontinued mounts available to gold-capped people only is fair at all. Urg. I looked forward to seeing those mounts again too...

So essentially, Blizz has decided that credibility on this particular subject just isn't worth maintaining? So I guess the people that "earned" the mount in the first place don't get to have something unique after all. Cute, real cute. Just put the damn meta achievement back in ffs.

I believe a while ago it was mentioned by a blue poster that the Plagued and Black Proto-Drakes would make a reappearance.
They never took any other achievement mounts out so I don't see why people who earned it back then should get special treatment to be honest.
I say they should just put the meta achievement back in the game or put them somewhere else, but not just the BMAH.

Yeah....going to have to agree with the call to readd these to the meta instead. The Ulduar and ICC drakes were far more difficult to obtain at level; making these exclusive seems....silly. I mean, it did before, but even more so now.

Actually, yeah, the more I think about it, the more annoying it is that it's not on the meta and yet they're letting people simply buy the damn thing.

I would freak out if that landed on our BMAH - although I would loose it, guaranteed, I'm not even close to gold cap... 1/4 of the way there. Guess I need to make sure I could dump gold cap on that one...
But yeah, torn again as well, agree with you Schwert, why should only the rich people be able to get that baby when it was originally given out to some seriously talented raiders back in the day. Oh, wish I was around during those days now

Oh god...
I have only picked up WoW during 4.2, so I only know those mounts from wowhead and the occasional sighting in SW... and how I'd love to have one.
If only I had 999,99,99, I'd put it on that bid without a 2nd thought. Or maybe not - that one might have go to Invictible for my DK. Even though it's still available, I bet that I'll be able to raise that 1m gold faster than get it to drop and win a roll on it. (currently at 10% - only 900k left
)

I'd agree not to put things like meta drakes in the BMAH. Not that I care about others who want to be special snowflakes but why do only the mega rich get them now? Just put the meta back in. yeah its trivial content but so is uldar and ICC.
Blizzard really can't justify removing mounts like that anymore. ZG i understand as the raid is actually gone and sure put those up in the AH but not achievement stuff.
