So lately ive been wondering alot about what new models(if anny) of our current tameable beasts are gonna look like.
So for funz i have skecthed out a few models on my own
AND
i hope and dare the rest of you to create a model of your own. Make it into a game! (Spiritbinder..show yer work! the SB devilsaur is really neat)
Or maybe you have seen a wolf/cat/raptor/ect in another game or the old warcraft games that you would love to see in World of Warcraft.

Anyway. so far ive sketched a raptor

A devilsaur named Moss-face.

A bat

And a fox. yeah i know, we dont know if they will be tameable yet but...i wanted to.

These are...gob-smackingly outrageously amazing. 0.0 I've had them on my screen for a good 2 minutes...absorbing every detail...I shall now tame a devilsaur and call him Mossface, in honour of you. :3

Akyo, I love your concepts!! The mossface devilsaur could totally fit into Cataclysm, as if he was snoozing buried away and all the climate changes/earthquakes woke him.
I love your great detail and understanding of the facial and especially foot structures. I wish I could make such anatomically believeable toes! (Mine are more like chunky little sausages with a nail sticking out. )

As for your question, I sometimes think of a few model variations I'd like. My most recent one Ive been contemplating is a tallstrider model that is less like an ostrich, and more like a water striding bird. It would have wider webbed toes, a narrower longer beak, and longer wing and tail plumages. It could wander in shallow water, with feathers in blues, whites, and grays. I guess the hawkstrider is a step in that direction, but I think of it as being even more like real water-stalking birds, only taller.

Otherwise, Id like to see a couple of wolf skins with more realistic fur patterns, such as a gray wolf. Id like to see bobcats too. Also, while I enjoy our current turtle model, I'd love a second model with a more streamlined smooth shell (as opposed to giant spiky pyramided shell), or perhaps a slight keel running down the center. Spotted turtles, map turtles, redfoots, and eastern box turts all have interesting colors and patterns that could possibly be used.

yeah id love another tallstrider model as well as new turtles, i never fancied their current ones.
Only reason ive ever considered tallstriders is the great colors.
