[warning] A hunter from Vek'nilash keeps on killing Acroniss

Hi

There is a toon (Troll hunter, previously a human Hunter, probally race changed) from Veknilash server keeps killing Acroniss(rare serpent with unique skin) when it spawns even though she has tamed it, thus preventing every other hunter who had been camping it for weeks from taming it.

I know she/he had race changed because the xmog, the guild, the server and the title used are the same and people that are camping with me had complained about the hunter, telling every mid tame, the hunter would kill the beast. Even though my toon is Proudmoore, thanks to CRZ, she is always in Silithus, killing every tame!

can this be considered as griefing?

While I appreciate the warning, naming and shaming is inappropriate behaviour for these boards. That's something for Blizzard t ohandle. This isn't the place to do it.

Report them when they do this. If there are others around when it happens, have them report as well. Make a paper trail.

You probably want to change your post so you don't name names. It is enough that you've made people aware of it and let people know to report it when they see it happens.

Proudmoore's a PvE realm, as such, it should be a PvE CRZ.

If someone does something like this for an extended period of time, it falls under griefing in the ToU, as it is affecting other players ability to play the game.

A workaround until they are dealt with is having someone from another realm that isn't in the same CRZ inviting you to a group.

Sadly, it's not only that hunter and only with Acroniss.

I have run on several hunters and other classes killing the new rares just to spite the hunters taming them, often doing /rofl /lol /spit and /rude to the hunter that attempted to tame the rare. Seen it happen with Iceclaw, Quall, Manas, Tabbs, the banana hoarder, Kash, Sunwing, Chromehound and several of the new wind serpents.

Been making a hobby of mine lately to kill and camp those douches if they are horde with guildies. Thank god for being in a pvp realm >=3

I was in Silithus earlier doing AQ, and someone came up to me and started /spitting /slapping, etc. even though I wasn't even near the cave. I assume someone saw this and assumed it was me, even though the front post says they faction changed. xD

Well, I've seen 3 rares killed today by players from Proudmoore, so your server mates are giving ya'll a bad rap.

Last one was a mage that was just sitting there over the kill, when I flew up, she did a spin around me and took off.

Another from a different server was what appeared to be a bot that was camping the red rare arcane wyrm.

I believe we should take this to the Blizzard site forums, and directly petition a rule for hunter pets...

If 'Hunter 1' kills a pet that 'Hunter 2' is already in the process of taming, it can be considered griefing, because this is ridiculous, the idea they implanted in the Pandaria rares should've been implanted in the 5.1 rares to begin with... imho. Its too late now, so a new rule would be the best solution, this would be a direct hunter rule however.

IF this is a bot, this is already botting, why didn't anyone jump on THAT? Common sense people, c'mon.
So you can't get rid of them for killing the precious serpent...get rid of a botter... save of from the Sha-Bot (yes...totally just made that up...lol).

Or why not make the existing rares designed to be hunter pets targetable ''only by flare''. Like the pandaria rares.
