{I'm unable to log into the WoW forums for some reason, so if the suggestion thread is still open, can someone post this in it?}

I just thought of a skill that's similar to a mage's Slow Flight/or a para-cloak.

It involves a flying-only pet grabbing the Hunter as he/she falls, in it's talons/arms/whatever, in order to slowdown/save from a death; as in an accidental jump from TB... x.x. Pet list: Bird of Prey, Carrion Bird, Wasp, so on.

Might have a limit, such as: no fighting allowed/ or like the para-cloak.

No name for the skill, or where it could go? Possible BM only trick, or a new skill for all hunters?

Hmm... They'd have to balance it out for ground-pets, but otherwise it sounds cool.

Yeah they would need something to counter-balance it for all the land-bound mounts. Maybe increased run speed or something with your pet out. But that sounds like a nifty idea

perhaps for ground pets, if your hunter is falling, the pet could warp down [even if it isnt a talent] and give your hunter "a cushie landing".
