Hey everyone I'm on the verge of a major rage quit haha also on the verge of crying to be honest I really hate hard bosses.

So question is has anyone actually been able to solo him with better gear or is he truly un doable either way?

I've wiped like 21 times trying different things but nothing works, killing the drakes doesn't work either because they still technically have a lot of health and I'm just taking too much damage and misdirect doesn't always work >.>

I managed to kill one drake but got killed soon after anyways lol

I'm only ilvl 470 with plenty of blues so perhaps if I were to get t14 it would help?

Either way I'm so angry right now I don't have anyone who can help and its not cool

Can cross server peeps help? Or anyone who has a char on scarlet crusade who can help take him down so I can calm down?

He's still quite high level. It'd be almost impossible to solo 3d at 90, even with some pretty amazing epics.
That's something I would expect to be doable at 95 or 100 (99 if they follow level cap of DII)

No ones really going to help because everyone is either leveling or collecting valor and to join a random group means having to fight over the drake and I've had enuf of OS so I just wanna get the drake and never go back, not this expansion anyways.

Maybe you'll have time another day? And we can try it than I can wait, it's not like I do anything anyways in game or out so yeah if you want I can wait

By a hunter? No He's not soloable. Even DKs got trouble with him. 3 guildies tried to do OS25 3D. They couldnt hack it so they asked me. I stepped in and we got him down so you need exceptional DPS and a heals for it.

We managed to three man him down with one person playing an affliction warlock in ilvl 482 gear. He was naturally providing most of the damage, and he had his voidie tank Sarth.
I came on a BM hunter in ilvl 433 stuff, and provided some damage, but not a lot obviously.
Healing was provided by a holy paladin in 430 gear.

Usually one or two of us would die, and one left standing. Our first time we had a couple of wipes, but we managed to get our technique down and succeeded without wiping the other two times.

The warlock is an exceptionally skilled player however, and obviously with good gear, so without him it would not have been possible with three people, at least for us.

We had tried before with a third dps, a 440 geared fury warrior, but we were wiping constantly at 5%, so we decided to bring heals instead and then it worked. The voidie was not really tanking much, as the warlock's damage outdid his tanking capabilities, so in fact the warlock was being hit almost constantly, and not until the end does the damage really mount up.

Well if I don't manage to get any help than ill just wait until my friend can come online again which probably won't be for another 6 months maybe more but at least ill go with someone i know who wants to test out 25 mans and not be angry as hell that some random dude got the drake lol

And she has a cousin who plays so that's 3 people right there.

But your chars are alliance I'd have to go with my 85 Druid instead, which depending on the fight can do quiet well in feral.

I've only tried 2 manning so far (both with ilvl 480+) and even with food buffs and pots we were only able to knock him down to 40% or so in a straight up zerg. Doesn't help that I waste time misdirecting and healing the pet I suppose. But by the end of the expansion it should be easy enough.

Pugging about 4 or 5 people honestly is the way to go right now. People are still willing to do mount runs and it's an easy one.

I three-manned it but it took many, many tries. It's VERY hard even with three 90s.

Maybe if I could catch at least 3 of you guys online :p I could go with my druid but as a healer I'm in full mop gear so my mana regen is really good and heals are not bad, I think I heal just slightly less than my 80 due to her having a lot of crit and proc'ing a lot of 108% mastery which boosts my heals like mad dog but 80 would be problematic even with leet heals because my hp is only 50k >.>

So that's why I'd prefer the 85 healer because I have like 180k hp on that.

I know that people would probably go if I asked but my rng in groups is baaaad, I used to go to OS all the time at 80 and naxx and I never won anything lol literally!

That doesn't mean I won't get lucky and win it anyways but I have yet to win anything new from lfr and its been a few months since I won anything at all

So yeah I guess I'm just too chicken to go with with a random group because I'm scared shitless that ill have to run the raid forever to get the mount and I don't want to run it forever because I hate it sooo much.

And whether people believe me or not you guys don't feel random to me

I'd rather run with you guys or (my friend if she could come online)than anyone else.

Well I actually made two chars on your server to say hello! because all my chars are on SC.

Last night? I was on. :O I was on Sango and Jetfyre most of the evening. Sango was doing LFR.

I only added your sig chars I don't know of any other chars you have.

To be honest though w/o battle tag or real id its hard to catch people online because you don't know when they will be online and sitting on their realm for hours isn't the best option :p
