Pet Idea: Cloud Serpents

I wasn't very fond of the newer format for my Pet Idea threads, so I'm going back to the more simplistic form.
For any of you who don't know, a Cloud Serpent is an elongated reptile, most likely of the superfamily Varanoidea, due to their long snake-like body and relatively high intellect compared to other known Azerothian reptiles. Now that you've gotten a brief mental image, let's look at a very beautiful in-game Cloud Serpent, shall we?

The image, while wonderful at showing what a Cloud Serpent is, is quite large indeed. So, here's a simple link.

Ain't it pretty?

Now that you know what it looks like, let's list off the abilities!

Image
Hatchling Vortex
- Channeled for 20 seconds
- 1 minute cooldown
Your Cloud Serpent, almost playfully, spins in a large circle, creating a vortex. Any attackable targets that walk into the vortex are unable to escape it, and will be slowed if they try to walk out and after walking 25 yards, they will be sucked back in.

OR

Image
Breath of The Dragon
- Channeled for 5 seconds
- 50 second cooldown
Your Cloud Serpent breathes an engulfing flame, burning up the armor of any target in front of it and decreasing their armor rating by 12% for 20 seconds.

OR

Image
Rage of The Dragon
- Instant
- 2 minute cooldown
Your Cloud Serpent becomes empowered by the magic of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, increasing it and your attack speed by 25% for 10 seconds.

And that is my idea for tamable Cloud Serpents. Post any suggestions you have below.

*Because I'm highly paranoid about the smallest things I read about, I'm placing this down here because I read somewhere on the internet (Yeah I know, it's the internet) that Blizzard usually doesn't use fan ideas posted on forums is because the people who made said ideas might take copyright actions against them. So, feel free to use this, Blizzard.*

Rage of the Dragon would be a no-go.

It'd make Cloud Serpents necessary for any raiding hunter.

Breath of the Dragon would have to be changed to 12%, to match other armor debuffs, otherwise, same reason as above.

I sneaked in some nerfs just a little bit ago. Rage of The Dragon's timer has been nerfed to 10 seconds and now affects both the pet and the player (More like Serpent Swiftness), while Breath of The Dragon is down to 12%.

While these are cool, I'm highly doubting we'll ever be able to tame them anytime soon.(not gonna say never) Especially considering we have to earn the trust and affection of said serpents in a more sentient way. They seem to be slightly if not fully self aware...like somewhere between the Proto Drakes and the regular dragons.

But these attacks seem sound if for some reason Blizz lets us tame sentientish creatures like the Cloud Serpents.

Blizzard doesn't use fan ideas not because they're afraid they're gonna sue them, it's just a common corporate rule: don't use what people send you unless they're contracted. Moving on...

I always imagined cloud serpents would be an exotic pet which would be esentially a "chimaera variant" - it would have an AoE functionally identical to chimaera's, and then a simple non-exotic skill, perhaps functionally identical to Serpent's Swiftness.

As I said before, Rage of the Dragon just would not work. Any buff that gives the hunter or the pet a buff that is not one of the main 8 buffs would be REQUIRED for hunters. They are shying away from this. It's the same reason they generalized hunter buffs. We spent an entire expansion REQUIRED to bring wolves to raids.

(Yes, I'm well aware we still had choice. But our groups also had the choice to kick us for not being optimal)

I could see it being a new Serpent's Swiftness, 10% for the group, but that's about it.
