I was heading to the Outlands to help a friend of mine and while riding though I saw an Elite Dragon flying through. He was high level. Seemed out of place being there as in all my times of being there I've never seen a dragon flying through. Maybe he was lost?? But regardless it's always cool to see a dragon.

Ah yes, good ole Teremus. x) I remember a couple occassions of being ganked by that dragon when I was in the lower levels. You turn a corner in the road and BAM there's a dragon chewing you up.

I think he was often farmed for the Flawless Draenethyst Spheres he drops, so that could be why he isn't sighted too often.

Another elite dragon flies around TM occasionally too. I forget his name though.

That's Narillasanz. ^^ In all my years of playing WoW I have only encountered him once. o.o

Looks like from the pics someone has set their black drake mount free and it's now lost in BL.

I love farming this guy for the flawless spheres. There's also an elite dragon in swamp of sorrows that was part of an onyxia quest.

Call me a masochist, but I kinda like when a zone has one uber critter than wanders around and who can gank you if you're not being careful enough. I remember when the Sons of Arugal were all elite and would leap out of the woods and eat us lowbies as we ran around doing Sepulchre quests. Fun times!

Ive seen him alot... I even saw some afk dude die from him... that was funny ^^

the Sons of Arugal are still as dangerous as they've been before (still elite and whatnot)......find that out the hard way every time I quest there on a lowbie undead.....

I thought they nerfed them a while back? Hrm.

Yup, the Sons are still elite.

yeah their just not as powerful as they used to be. (now lvl 20 instead of 25)

Dustwallow used to have that feel. When i was doing the whelp quest, the dragonkin and crocs that wandered nearby used to be elite. It gave the zone a very dangerous feel, and I was always on my toes.

Ah, I remember Badlands...Here I was, on little Azu druid, always tempting fate with Zaricotl. "Hi, bird!" Would be my greeting everytime I skirted around him. Well, I'm taking on a few wolves when suddenly, my health drops. "HOLY CRAP I'M BEING GANKED BY A VULTURE!" Needless to say, Azu was eaten. Turns out NE is too tough though, cause he was still aggressive after.

That, and my brother (as a DK) and I (as a druid.) would click the Hero's Blood pool and see who could survive. He would try and fight, and I would see them, bear, run a bit, lifeblood, cheetah away, and live. I won. xD

First toon that I was seriously leveling... I SO talked a friend into helping me attempt to kill this guy...

This was back in vanilla, when Ryno was a wee bitty level 40...

...

It did not end well.

For us... for the dragon, it was a happy ending...
