Taming the Universe: Because not just Azeroth

With my 2nd Warrior finally sitting tight at 85 it's now Sushis time to shine as my new "I'm really bored" toon.
And Hunter has been probably the funnest questing class I've leveled yet.

...
Mainly because I can go out and tame things.

Lets see how long it takes me to fill up the stable completely, shall we?

To begin;
The first tame after leaving the starting zone...

I...don't know if Spiders really fit the whole "Panda" thing - Or zombies at that - but whatever works.

(Also - Let me know if that screenshot stretches out the screen. Doesn't for me but it does seem a tad large.)

It does stretch the forum beyond my screen.

My first tame outside the turtle was a spider as well IIRC. I ended up growing used to all kinds of insects (yes, I know spiders are not actually insects) which then made my character grow up into a Silithid specialist, taming all models that are inferred to be some kind of Silithid - whether in game they're classified as beetles, wasps or scorpids.

Making new Hunters and setting a list of "to tame when I hit *insert level*" is always a good remedy for boredom. I have four total Hunters now. Although the fourth is a level 3? Blood Elf who I wasn't sure if I wanted, so I made a Horde Panda instead. I have gotten the itch to set a list for her(the BElf) and level her. I definitely want to get a Lynx model on her as I don't have one on any of my Hunters.

Did you have a theme for pets thought out? Or just going to tame whatever you want/like. My Worgie has a Worg theme(go figure) while my Panda.. doesn't have much of one yet. I do want to collect all the Quilin colors on her and focus more on the new Pandaria models, but other than that she's an, "Oooh, I always wanted that!" *tame* Hunter alt.

As for the screenshot, it's fine for me but I'm on a 21.5in widescreen monitor running 1920x1080. Now if my crappy 17in monitor were still my main screen.. then it'd be off the page. (Yay dual monitors!)

Scale pictures down, please, and remove

. Both just make your post harder to read.

I use multiple 1920x1200 24" screens, but due to their size I never have a browser maximised. Simply put, there's no reason to have such a large picture when you can have an image half the size that links to the full version. Hosts like imgur even give you the BB code to do it.

Having huge pictures doesn't just affect your posts - it will stretch every post on this thread to the width of the picture, making them harder to read as well. There's a reason newspapers use columns instead of wide patches of text :)

I avoid spiders, not only because of arachnophobia IRL but because I just don't like them in-game. Same goes for most bugs, honestly :) The only time I'll tame one is if it's some sort of special tame - it's either rare, hard, or just neat :)
