I just had to share this. Moon Guard was just made awesome for that. Hah!

Anyone else got stories to share from mistells? XD

I like to RP with a friend of mine over whispers and RealID. It's very fun and convenient, but every now and then I'll be talking to one too many people and things get confusing. I don't remember any specific quotes, but I know at least one of my RealID friends has gotten more than a few random snippets of RP, from fights to romance. xD Must be fun to put those pieces together.

One of my friends was ERPing with her fiance and she sent it to me on accident. She was so embarrassed cause I replied with "Well then! I didn't know you felt that way....<3"

I once posted a very personal and flirty message that was supposed to be for my mate in my instance group instead.
Then not too long after that I forgot I had a Neopets link on my CTRL C and posted that into my raid group instead of info on a boss fight X_X;

I once logged on and gave a friend the usual “Hay what’s up? How’s your day been?” That I always greeted him with…
Turns out he was in the middle of a massive whisper argument with one of his other friends who had done something really stupid. He sent me this massive wall of screaming, vulgar text filled with many interesting implications on what I should do with myself.
I replied with: “Well my day was pretty good until just now! ”
He was terribly embarrassed and kind of hid in the corner for the rest of the afternoon. =P

I also sometimes roleplay with one of my other friends whenever she visits wow. Needless to say there have been many times that I have accidently told my guild and/ or other friends of the dire situation at hand as we run form <Insert bad guy here>. At least they know that the furbolgs are working for “him” now. I can only pray they can escape before it is too late. *le over serious face*

On more than one occasion Ive sent a um... "flirty" message to the wrong person on accident. Of course every single time ive done it, it has been to the same person.

Yugi, is from Yugi-oh, an anime about a card game where the heart of the cards helps players win "duels"

Anyhow, I myself have been the receiver of many many mistells, some simple words, others long sentences, and the occasional recipient of an intimate whisper sent the wrong place.

Though I did do an oopsy myself just last week where I was healing a random heroic, and it was an all round bad group. A RiD friend was whispering me asking how it wads going and I was talking with him, and one of my messages went to instance chat instead of whisper. "I don't know why I keep getting stuck with the short bus crew. I don't think any of these idiots have the slightest idea what an interrupt is."

Led to a very awkward moment...then someone said "give me reason why we shouldn't kick you for that?" I countered with "Do you think you can survive without me?" funny enough, I didn't get kicked.

Guild chat is also a great source of Mistell mayhem...I don't think there is a day that goes by that there isn't something doesn't get accidentally put into guild chat...usually either something very VERY random or something very intimate.

This is why I refrain from making ANY comment about a dungeon group while I'm still in it. I'll complain after we're done, but not during.

My general mistell screw ups come from the fact that I'm in several different guilds. Once I thought I was having a conversation in my bank guild when I was actually logged on my main. Didn't realize it until one of my main's guildmates suddenly posted a smiley and I went, "Wait, why is he in the conversation?"

Not quite game related but today has not been my day for saying things right.

I told my daughter "do you grab the kitty by the tail or are you gentle...remember you can't do either of those things." Hubby stares at me for a moment...Wait...no "Don't pick him up by the tail you HAVE to be gentle with him..."


And just now I asked her while she was eating at the table "Did you finish eating all your pokemon?" Because I was at my computer looking at an awesome pokemon artist.

been screwing up my sentences all day.

I just had an embarrassing mistell. I was goofing around and acting like a moron with one of my friends. (As all good friends are required to occasionally act) Eventually he says “I have something to tell you. The truth is I’m not your friend… I am….I AM….!”
And I interrupt and say “Oh my god YOU ARE MY MOTHER!”
I get the reply “Uhhh…what?”
Took my five minutes to realize my other friend (Who goes by a similar B.tag name as the friend I was previously talking to) had whispered me a question when I wasn’t looking and I had ended up replying to him instead. *Le mortified /facepalm* This happens a lot with these two. >.< When I eventually realize what happened I apologize and he just says: “Oh good. For a minuet there I thought I was a new mommy."

Someone whispered "Hey babe, I'd dive into a pool of AIDS infected needles just so I can get a lotto ticket, and should I win, my prise will be to caress your legs with gloves on~" to me. I responded with a "wat" and they were all
"OH GOD MISS TELL SORRY"

Let's just say that I have a certain... uh... special... significant other.

Let's just say that I was talking very actively to a good friend that I hadn't seen in a while, and wasn't watching which window my comments were going to.

Let's just say that my thank god very accepting and might I add very female friend apparently reacts well to being called 'Sir' and seeing me in a light she neeeeeever expected.

'Nuff said.

.... at least she thought it was funny.

So I decided I wanted to play mage on a world of darkness game!

I sent a tell to one of the mage headstaffers/RP peeps.

In reply, I got this lovingly detailed, 3 page long Adult RP scene set. Boy, there were details right down to the wall paper.

... I was quiet for a long moment.

I couldn't think of anything.

Then I meekly replied, "All of that and I'm not even statted out yet!"

I don't have any mistells that I directly remember.

But. I do feel sorry for the people that send intimate messages or rp messages to the wrong people.
