Wasn't really sure where to put this, so feel free to move it if Mounts subforum isn't appropriate.

The white armored Windsteed is in the Blizzard store. Presumably the other colors will be introduced at a later time, or not introduced at all (looking at you, hippogryph colors that I can't own).

There are more colours? o:

It didn't seem flashy enough to be a blizzstore mount...regardless, it'll probably be the first blizzstore mount I pass on. The white was my least fav color. Here's hoping the others get introduced (tho I'm kinda doubting considering what the mounts have been so far).

Yeah, three other colors were datamined.

But considering we only got one color of hippogryph at first, and never did get all of them for player use, I'm not surprised.

Its riding animation is REALLY rocky! Like, even more than the talbuk!

It is but I can deal with it for now I fell in love with them the moment I saw them. I love mine! The idle poses are amazing imo and the mount special. I do REALLY hope the brown gets introduced and is obtainable for me though as well. The white and brown were honestly my favorites. <3

I found the other colours on an older thread and I have to say I like the white one best, although the other colours look good and I would love to see them somewhere.

I bet they're saving the other hippogryph mount colors for potential future faction rewards/rare drops/TCG loot cards. It's generally prudent to keep a skin or two unused "just in case". The same thing may be true about Windsteed.

GAH I need to get to the bank! D: I love this mount so much, the animations are just so beautiful!

I've been seeing some bad feedback about this, anyone got anything positive? I like how it looks, but it's just meh to me. I might wait Til it's on discount

It has an amazing mount special and its idle poses are great. It is rocky but mounts like kodos and the celestial steed were that way to until they fixed them. I like the fact it runs on a cloud and I personally find it lovely. Its my primary flyer/ground for now until I can get a cloud serpent.

The idle motions and /mountspecial make this mount worth it for me as well! I agree that the running bounce is a little... much, so hopefully they'll do something about it, but I'll be using it for flying anyway. I also can't pass up such wonderful detail

Edit: The cloud running is so smooth! Why can't the ground running be the same!? :[

Aaah, finally here!

I'm sure to get this one. Somehow it's just irresistibly adorable in its "ugliness". I love kirins, and hate huge mounts with even bigger wingspans or spacially extensive iddle animations (looking at you, drakes and windserpents), so this one is made for me.

I'll try to look at random people with it, I don't think I'll get it until this "rocky walking" is fixed.

On the beta it looked like you were riding a bucking bronco. From the comments here I guess that hasn't changed.

I swear it wasn't that way originally, but only appeared after they changed the skeleton. I could be wrong. It's fine in the air, but it's truly horrible on the ground. And I'm not usually nitpicky with models and animations. This one is just too exaggerated to ignore

If there's one thing about this mount I adore, it's how majestic he looks!

Oooh. Face still looks funny but I'm gettin it anyway!

Pros - Smooth flying animation, mount special makes me giggle, it's idle animation looks very graceful and majestic
Cons - Face looks odd(to me but it's growing on me), Ground run animation is too fast for it's own good so it looks like a bucking bronco

Overall, worth getting regardless.

If you asked me about the Windsteed, I would say it looks like a fine mount in general, I'm just not sure if it should have been a Store mount. I don't know, I think it just doesn't look distinct enough for that.
