Is this old news? When I originally picked my Scroll of Resurrection mount reward I chose the Alliance gryphon but the last time I played live it was only account wide for other Alliance characters I had.

I copied my hunter over to PTR today and while I was looking through my mounts list and found this:

Some time after 5.1 release some people noticed that some of the once faction-restricted mounts are converting into their equivalent in the other faction. One of the few exceptions to this remain the Black War mounts.
