It is a rare spawn itself. So, no need to say much, you guys know how rare this is. I love it so much.

Too rare for my blood. If he kept the glow after death, it would finally give me a reason to tame a rhino.

I killed him yesterday, because he's not that rare of a rare spawn. At least, no more-so than any other of the Wrath rares.

The thing is, How many times you have to try to tame him with his buff?

The buff will not stay, but the reason to do this is to show off.

If you think you are luck enough, just try to tame one with buff and show me.

Congrats on the tame, it's definitely one to show off. It's a pity that he doesn't keep the effect after death, I couldn't handle being ultra-careful with him to prevent that from happening.

I wonder though, since I've heard reports this was fixed for EU/US - when did you tame him?

I know this post. There is no beat me or not beat me, this is not a competition. I finally got mine and I feel so happy about it. I tried so many times with my friend. Can't find anything more rare then this one.

I don't think Qinni was meaning it as a competition. I think it was more of someone did tame Icehorn ahead of you so his having the appearance buff tame was discover long before.

And by your responses to others, in my opinion, you're coming off as it's a competition.

With CRZ Icehorn is much easier to get these days and also since Blizzard reduced the respawn times of the rares. Others HAVE tamed him with his buff so you're not the first. Not the second. You will not be the last.

But. Grats on getting something you've wanted.

Why with CRZ Icehorn is much easier to get? I think it makes much more harder to get because you have to get things done before the pet get killed by someone from other realm.

I never say that I'm the first one who did tame Icehorn with buff. And I don't care who did tame it ahead me. They just missed my point and changed the topic. I don't mean it is a competition, what I want to say is tame Icehorn with buff is sooooo hard and rare, I'm glad that I can get something like that. Just don't know why people say that its not rare. Perhaps they never try it by themselves so they have no idea what they are talking about.

Im sure nothing was meant by anyone on this thread, or so it is always said. But the fact that there is a bunch of times over the years that i have seen someone make a statement in response to someones thread, where they were excited about something, and it just reads as if people want to just put others in their place. I know there are a lot of close friends on here, people that chat more than others. But there are a lot of people that just read to get great information and a good laugh sometimes. So I understand how things can be taken the wrong way, but thats the thing, just be careful in how you say things and they wont be misconstrued. If you disagree about something or feel you are being taken taken the wrong way it should be taken to a private IM. Just some days I hate the fun mood we have on here to be ruined by misunderstandings. <3


congrats on your tame, doing a rare like this is hard. If you dont get it right the first time you have a heck of a wait lol. More patience than me these days.

FOR ME it is not as rare as you're portraying it. I've tame Icehorn five times total. Two with the buff, three without. With CRZ though spotting him has, yes, been a bit more difficult but he's not as rare as he used to be back in say LK launch days when the zone first came around. Again this is in MY EXPERIENCES. He's a rare spawn but not much of a hard catch anymore. With CRZ it may even be easier still in some respects.

But as I already said. Congrats on the tame.
