It seems Blizzard is *HOPING* to do away with the main-hand / off-hand tags for just about every weapon out there. They also mentioned something about allowing weapons that share similar animation types to be transmoggable to one another, regardless of weapon type, but what specific weapons that rule will apply to is anyone's guess at this point. Removing main-hand/off-hand Xmog restrictions maybe by 5.2. Also allowing Xmog of weaps w/ similar anims (2H axe/2H sword, etc).

So far, MMO-Champion has this list of remaining main-hand weapons *HERE*. Other than the above, there has been no word that restrictions to transmogrifying lengendaries have been relaxed or otherwise changed. They are still off limits for transmogrification purposes.
