I don't know if there is something special needed for the panther boss but with bloodlord you need to time your snake trap to drop before he 1 hit kills you so he doesn't despawn when you die.

He gets distracted by the snakes while you wait for the ghost to come res you.

I wish there was a way to see the cooldown on when he does it. im allways to late or too early

Do you have DBM? That would probably give you a heads up.

I dunno fi it does. The Priestess is really Easy peasy! but the Bloodlord is a PAIN!

As a hunter, the priestess is really easy. I just nuke her head on, and when the phase changes and the panthers rush out towards me, I feign death right before they hit me, and then I resume my nuking. My gear is well enough that I don't need to worry about interrupting her cast thingie.

I completely forgot I could go solo this now. Thanks for the reminder. That black kitty is one of those things I had put on my farm list then forgot about. I need to start writing things down.

The Blood Lord is hard. Very hard. The one time I decided to solo him, I was luck in where my Ghost-Iron dragonling kept him preoccupied while I was rezzed, due to a badly timed snake trap >.<
Although, I always thought the dragonlings despawned when you died O_o

I solo farmed these mounts when my friend couldn’t come to the run. The cat is easy. The raptor…not so much. Even though you can solo the priest I will add a guide for her \in case someone else comes here looking for tips.

Priest:
Things I recommend:
Spirit beast tank
Glyph of…mending? (the 60% heal buff glyph)
Emergency heal pots and bandages

Run to the back of the room and stand in that little square cubbyhole in the back wall. Misdirect onto your pet and pull the boss. Wait until she is casting something then use silencing shot. She will now run into the cubby hole and attack your pet. Keep your pet in the cubby hole and run out and LOS her by standing up against the wall and hugging the corner. Use kill command (and blink strike if you have it) to dps her down. It should be safe to run out and heal your pet whenever she is casting something. Having a spirit beast allows for your pet to heal itself if you can’t go out and heal it on your own. You can expect to get hit pretty hard if you come out of hiding at the wrong time.

Phase 2
Once the ceiling starts to collapse it is safe to come out. Stand in front of the boss, a reasonable distance from your pet. Ignore the boss and watch the panthers as they will now all aggro you. Feign death just before they reach you and they will all reset and not bother you from that point on. After that just burn the boss and you are done.


Blood lord: (The lord of frustration!)
Recommended:
Core hound tank
The higher your Ilvl the better.
do /sw You now have a timer for decapitate!
Keep your corehound summon on one of your action bars. Sometimes you pet will not be re-summoned upon your revival.

Blood lord will one shot you ten seconds after the pull so do NOT use any cooldowns. You can however blow all of your focus since it is going to be wiped upon rez anyway. You have to stand right on top of him during the whole fight so that when you trigger snake trap he will activate it right away. Drop your first snake at about 7 seconds into the pull. After the initial kill he will decapitate once every 35. (Possibly 38 if I’m wrong. Sorry about that) seconds so keep an eye on your timer and try and drop a snake trap about four seconds before you die.

Cooldowns:
I recommend saving your cooldowns until your second death since every time you are revived you gain a stack of Spirit of vengeance. “Increases health, damage, and healing done by 25%. Decreases damage taken by 10%.” Pop hero, stampede and everything else at this point. If you have the time then use readiness and pop them all again. if not, use it on the next rez.

Warnings:
Try not to let your pet run after the raptor. He will drag the boss around with him and make it hard to drop a snake trap.
Keep an eye on bloodletting. Use something to heal yourself and feign death. You will still take damage but it should stop the spell from healing him.
Don’t give up! Some days you will one-shot him like a badass. Other days it will take five or six tries. This a dps race but more importantly it’s about timing your traps right.
DBM will NOT track the cd on decapitate! you have to use the /sw command

Raptor:
Kill the raptor as soon as you can target him. He’s an easy kill at 90. Only ignore him if you KNOW that you have the Blood Lord down low enough that you will not need more than one rez to kill him.

Well I think that’s it. The boss is all one phase that you are just repeating over and over again. Just watch that snake trap! Good luck!

I feel lucky, I already have the raptor (my alts seem to have better luck with mount drops than my main ) and with all my gear the high priestess is easy peasy .
