Rak'Shiri

You know never know which forum is more appropriate for this sort of deal <.< anyways...

Yesterday I had decided, I wanted her. Rak'Shiri, not because cats are imba dps or anything but I just like to cycle thru several pets when in dungeons. And usually before 60, 70 or 80, I have my stables full. And Em...

Was lacking two pets for that.

I had contemplated the white gorilla, but after accidently killing it I realized if I had really wanted it, I wouldn't have gone and done what I did, so I left the hunt to someone who'd appreciate the special ape. After reading a thread here, a spark for Araga went off; but again it just didn't stick. Not because I'd have to camp as long as I had for Skoll on Yas, but, it just didn't feel right.

And then Em ding'd 57, and something nagged at me. Wasn't there a rarespawn, level 57, in winterspring? So I make the countless journey to petopia, click thru some things and find yes. Yes there is a rarespawn.

My hunt was fruitless yesterday, but today, after dealing with a thunderstorm that knocked the power out 5 times while I was awake and probably alot before that, given how flooded the back yard is at the moment...

Grats on your tame! I have him on my belf, and he's one of those "I will not get rid of" pets. I got him at lvl 57, and he's been a steadfast companion ever since. He's absolutely gorgeous!

Biggest of congratulations! ^^ I tamed Rak'Shiri after running out of friends who hadn't completed the quest for Shy-Rotam. He was meant to be an aged version of my Winterspring Pride Watcher, Erulissë, but alas, we did not connect.

Still, wonderful find. =)

Congrats! I have always thought that the tauren look good with one of the riding tiger kittens, and this helps me to believe that even more. I wish you two many happy hunting seasons together. :D

Congrats!

Way back when only Horde could spawn Shy-Rotam, I had spied that awesome blue tiger in my visits to Ironforge (to put it in perspective, back then it was Lagforge -g-) and my level 23 NE Hunter decided she HAD to have him.

When I finally hit the proper level for Rak'shiri, I began a (no, not kidding you) THREE WEEK (seven hours a day, mind you) epic stalk for the darn thing, only to have a twit whose (and yes, she proudly told me this in a whisper) boyfriend leveled her hunter so she would let him play some nights tame him seconds before me, after asking me why I was standing around in the snow. I sent her the info on Petopia and she wanted the tiger (and this still makes me implode -g-) "because it matched her armor." (/headdesk)

I logged out after that, needing to get away afore I said something rude, and hours later when I logged back in, intending to HS back to a city, some amazing Horde folks, doing the Quest saw me watching (and occasionally helping them by sending in a few arrows when they needed help) and actually helped me tame the tiger-- they'd only wanted the white lion! Even when I died the once, they waited for me to run back.

To this day I have Merlyn as my NE Hunter's primary pet... don't think I'll ever let him go, either. ;)

May your blue tiger give you as much joy!

Grats! I love Rak'shiri. I will never, ever, ever, ever give up Moonlight. He will level with me when we brave the mess that will be Cata.

Grats on the tame!

Whenever I go up there to look for her, she's always missing. :( But then again, on my server Winterspring is large traffic area 101 because of the mount for Alli and questing in general.
