So I had to tame a wasp for the pet challenge a few days ago, and went after the Krasari wasps. It turns out that both wasps, the wasplings and the big ones, become tiny when tamed!
Tiny blue wasp, Garth, compared to one of the wasps of the same model in Uldum.
Wasp compared to my worgen hunter. I dunno if you guys knew this (I had thought all boss models got shrunk and it was common news) but no, it turns out only these guys stay extra small. The mobs in question are the Krasari Hissing Wasps and the Krasari Hissing Wasplings in Krarasang.

Ooh, how fun! I don't recall hearing about these (because my memory sucks, apparently); good to confirm!

Teehee, he's so cute. I may have to tame one of these on one of my hunters. xD

I'll try to remember to add a note to Petopia about that. As I said, the wasp is still a credible size, even if smaller, so hopefully they'll stay that way for people who don't want a huge flappy pet

I still pine for my big ol' Queen Mindy though... Wasps of *every* size!

I remember them being small in beta, but I guess I just assumed they would be 'fixed'. I'd like a smaller wasp, but I'm just too fond of my Zora named 'Mum' to tame a different one.

Took some pics of the different sizes. Left is normal tamed size, right is the small Waste Scavenger:


And here's the small hunter pet on the left and the mini-pet on the right:


The vocalizations seem to be the same as the mini-pet's.

(I named mine Saffron!)
