... So it's finally been confirmed. Twilight Sparkle will be an alicorn. Much to a lot of people's disgust and a few other people's delight.
What do you think about it? Personally, this makes the season finale a lot more exciting for me, since I haven't been all that chuffed with the season thus far.

Ugh that's really lame. Just the cherry on top of the shit sundae that has been a lot of the ideas this show has done recently.

I dunno, I'll give it a chance. I mean, it was interesting to have her a normal pony, but she... never really was. I mean, she was always the most powerful unicorn. She was always unusual. So I can't really protest by saying she was more meaningful as an everday unicorn; she never was one.

Rather, it should be interesting to see how they deal with the responsibilities they're bringing in for her. It looks like they want to really make a point about powerful ranks meaning lots of responsibility, and how being a Princess isn't just frills; it's taking care of people. I dunno, it just seems like they could actually do something with this.

This and they stated they aren't actually changing her personality, so really I don't think it will do much, except give twilight the ability to fly
Im actually rather curious to see how this turns out

To be honest, it's been coming since the very start. An extraordinarily powerful unicorn. The two Princesses (Not counting Cadance here) called Celestia and Luna... and then there's *Twilight*... it fits too well. It's been approaching since the very beginning. I always did expect that something special would happen to her eventually.

The only possible problem I can imagine would be that the show will seem very different from now on. This could possibly be what the show needs. Or it could be a really bad decision.

True, I mean I'm going to give it a chance but I don't think they will handle it all that well. The writing this last season has not been all that good compared to the last two.

I dunno I think they got a bit too ugh lazy? I don't know if that's the description I want to use but it's the first that came to my mind. I mean all the seasons have episodes that I did not like but I could at least see that had good scripts and stuff but this one I'm finding hard to find ones like that. It pains me too say it but I can't see the show last more than one more season the way it's going. I know four seasons is around the normal time frame for most cartoons and I know writing can't stay as good all the time but I can see this show as one of those shows that goes on longer than it should and ending up ruining the things that made people like it in the first place.


Of course this is all my opinion and I'm not saying your wrong and I'm right or what have you. XD Only saying that cos when ever I see someone bring up things like this it always get's responces from crazed Bronies who can't seem to handle others opinions :/

Nah, you got a good point, Cow! I haven't been overly impressed with many of the episodes this season. I'm worried about if they'll be able to pull this off well, too.

Don't worry Cow, I get you. I respect people's opinions. But I also like to make sure people at least give the episode a chance before they decide they're never watching it again. Funnily enough though, my favourite episode of any season was this season. I adored Wonderbolt Academy, but my favouritism for Rainbow and Spitfire can't help. xD Every other episode was 'meh' or 'alright'.

No worries, you do have a great point here, I feel like their kinda randomly mashing up the scripts with things the fandom likes. Like adding in discord, I kinda felt a little disappointed with him being 'reformed' since he was a big bag villain, a season finale nontheless. It would have been much to keep him a villian

Same happened to me, but to be honest, a spoiler like that would've been *very* hard to avoid. Especially if you read EQD.

I would laugh so hard if all this was done just to troll the people. Like the episode airs and there's *nothing* in it to do with Twilicorn. xD

I think you guys might've missed the episode synopsis. ^^;

Twilight Sparkle will likely not remain an alicorn. She accidentally switched everyones cutie marks and changed their fate. Hers likely took Celestia's. So she's gotta create a spell to put everything back to normal. I suspect she will go back to normal too(that is my hope, anyway).

Moral of the post? Don't freak out over a sneak peak pic. It usually doesn't say squat about the actual story and starts random rumors due to freak-outs. I don't believe everything I read. I'm gonna wait til the episode airs before flying off the handle.

I've read a bunch of synopsis's for the ep and some say she will and some say she wont. :/
