I'm having fun dragging lower level toons through some dungeons and raids, I finally got my Paladin all decked out in banana-yellow and white (Molten Core set), and love the look (transmog, he's a bit higher level than that).

However, I'm wondering, since these old raids were pre-DK, is there any gear that a DK can wear/transmog from those raids? I've never tried before, so I don't even know if class-specific gear is really HARD class-specific. In other words, would the extremely cool Warrior set from Molten core be equipable by my DK for transmog purposes?

If it says Warrior on it, it's warrior only. There are some non-tier sets that work, though.

No, if you can equip it, you can Mog it. If its the same kinda armor, you can Mog it. Ex: plate to plate, mail to mail, leather to leather, and cloth to cloth

You're also forgetting all the cool and unique weapon models that can be found in theses raids. Everyone can appreciate a cool looking weapon, no?

As the others have said, while you can't wear any of the old, specific tier sets (as those are for pallies and warriors only), there are lots of older off set plate pieces as well as weapons that look fantastic.

No, class-specific tiers are actively class-specific even on transmog.

Though I have not seen a class-specific weapon, so yes, you may transmog weapons from old raids.

also, I saw something above about a example of gear materials allowed and can confirm that a transmog item must be the same material as the actual item, and the same thing exists with kinds of weapons (except for bows & crossbows, they may be Bow -> Crossbow and Crossbow -> Bow).
