Here's our pets. I wonder if they will ever add a budgie model to WoW. XD

Why is the plumage so different between the two? Is the yellow-green one male, or do they just have a whole range of, uhm, themes?

Actually, the main difference between the budgie genders comes from the little nose thingie on the top of their beaks. Male birds have blue noses while the girls have brown ones. Both sexes come in a decent variety of colours, Green and Blue varients being the main colours, but white-ish budgies (like cute little Duo there) aren't uncommon.
But yes, the yellow-green one is male, but not for the reasons you thought.

15 years is quite a long lifespan. She's looking hardy for such an old gal.
I love budgies. My Nana has a whole avairy of them and I had a couple as pets when I was growing up. Alas, don't have one now as I fear that my cat might decide that a bird would look better in her dinner plate.
I would so hunt down a budgie pet/mini-pet should they be added to WoW. XD

Oh, ok, I see it now. I thought maybe it was like wild birds, where the male is the colorful one and the female is camouflaged.
