So I believe (s)he is asking if you can go across zone borders with pets. If so, then of course you can. And I don't understand the second.

That's my issue. I know what are those words supposed to be, but mashed together in that order they don't make a lot of sense to me.

Maybe zones like US/EU/whatever? If yes, then "no".
Or maybe zones as in CRZ, from one server to another?

My best guess is that OP means servers instead of 'zones'. If that's the case, then 1. yes, pets are account-wide, so available on any server you play on, and 2. yes, probably easiest way is to roll a death knight on the new server.
