So I was talking to this hunter and he says I should be doing more then 8k dps in ICC. I do have gems for haste that I have not un gemed yet as I wanted to experiment with the spec and haste I have right now. I already seen a 1k dps jump in heroics so far. Have not had a chance to test it in ICC yet.

EDIT: Replaced my JC Haste Gems with Agility Gems. I got maybe + 120 more attack power a tiny amount of crit. I really don't think it would/will make much of a difference. Feel free to check out my spec I'm trying out now. Looking for the max dps spec and I've seen the dps boost you get off rapid fire so I figured I put some points into BM.

Hunter DPS varies wildly in ICC depending on the fight. Never look at Overall on Recount as that factors in AoE from Volley which goes through the roof on some trash pulls and thus skews your numbers, just look at each boss fight individually.

8K is great for some, not so great for others. Also you cannot measure your DPS in Heroics against ICC, or assume Heroic DPS will be representative of ICC. Yes, Haste will give you a DPS boost in Heroics because you never have to move in there; in ICC you're moving all the time so you pretty much lose most of your Haste benefit.

ICC can't really be compared to heroics anyway because of the buff. I think you're right to gem agil, especially since you're dual specced bm.

Why'd you have haste? BM pulls you so close to the cap as is.

ill agree with that hunter 8k min dps and thats not overall i mean on current fight forgetting trash mobs (cas i dunno about you but i slack on trash mobs xD)
you should be hitting double numbers in MM spec i can faceroll 10k and that was when my gear was rubbish (i hardly had any icc gear QQ)
in BM 8k seems normal i did a icc10 pug the other day only 4 bosses down i went in as BM the gear level was pritty much equal from us all but i did a steady 8k dps on boss fights sometimes got to 9.1k i was top dps so either i was stuck with idiots or i was just lucky :s

Your college blocks female dwarf? Lame. Mine just blocks mmos. They're content as long as you don't eat a large amount of bandwidth here.

Hmm, I'll probably edit this when I'm finished looking in female dwarf, but it looks like you can stack Armor Pen at current stats.
Edit: Best raid stats say you should be doing 10118.21, so far I've squeezed out 10229.85, but I haven't finished tweeking.
Edit 2: 10231.44, but I still haven't finished figuring out optimal gemming.
Edit 3: Got 10358.01 now and moved your kill shot glyph to steady, ending out in a surprisingly large increase.

Well I was surv. A guild member last night convinced me re try Marks again.

I got rid of the last of my haste gems. Reason I did gem them was I was experimenting with it really.

EDIT: thats with your MM spec to and teh gems the armory showed so hate meh later if it went wrongs :3 also forget to say i used the best raid buffs to (having my blonde day today :3)
Thats what I got just now running your current gear (changed pet specc a lil cas it came up with 20 points and not 16)

Ill do how i would gem your gear in a min once the page unfreezes >.<

best buffs are the ones you should be getting unless your with a bunch of idiots who dot know their class (ive been there .. it hurts T^T they think hunters dont need int or palas that think they dont hhave the buff blessing of kings)

Full ArP is a dps loss, the best way to use it is to calculate its peak.

Ok, best buffs you should hit 10374.17 with the following gem configuration + Heartseeker on on bow and Major Agility on cloak.
Head:
-Meta: Relentless Earthsiege (21 Agility + 3% to Crit Damage)
-Yellow: Deadly Ametrine (10 Agility + 10 Crit)
Neck:
-Yellow: Deadly Ametrine (10 Agility + 10 Crit)

you dont need to gem arp you should get enough from gear

How do I know when to start stacking Arp? I'm Gabbey on llane if anyone's curious (I've probably made a bunch of gemming /spec boo boos, any advice would be appreciated)

So much so that you cease to even use Arcane Shot (I'm speaking BM terms). Then you're just an even more boring version of the other two specs with a limp noodle for a pet. Even though it's not super-optimal, I gem AP because it buffs my pet, the way BM (in my mind) should.

But, I'm probably weird, and that's ok. I like to do good DPS, but I don't like to agonize over the ultimate best damage I can possible squeeze out it if means sacrificing the play style I enjoy.
