I saw an ally hunter use stampede and one of his pets was a Skyscreamer. I can not find anything on any site about how to tame one.

They're often called by Dire Beast, so I'm guessing you saw one of those mixed in with a Stampede. Unfortunately they're not tameable (trust me I would kill for one), but I'm kind of crossing my fingers they'll be considered for the future since they're called with Dire Beast.

This came out with stampede, i am trying to pay the hunter to tell me how. On my alt I was able to find him and he said he doesn't keep it out because he doesn't want Blizzard to kill it off like they did the worgen back in wrath. It is one of his pets, he took it out and it has a name.

Well guys, it's time to check ALL the beasts on the Isle of Thunder.

By the way, what happens to be his name and server?

Oh, and what skin does it use?

I honestly wouldn't believe this without any screenshot proof. =/ Just seems a little weird.

Yeah, I'm extremely doubtful about this as well.
However, I will test it for the sake of trying to find out if it's true.

Is there any summoned skyscreamer's? anything that spawns?

Do you remember what color it was?
if it was the green reddish one then it was still most likely the dire beast one. or atleast i always see then one when using direbeast.

Where were you? This isn't one of the models that pets change to when you turn into a Saurok, is it?

Unfortunately no.
I just have one more pterrorwing to check and then I'm busting this myth.

What probably happened was that there was a dire beast summoned in with the stampede, so it would have been difficult to tell in the sea of pets.

IF the person is telling the truth. Would be pretty easy to tell if they gave the hunter's name so that we could take a look in armory or ask them directly. What about the skyscreamer's in the "locked" zones, want there a way to get there before...

I have seen that happen. Wondered if it was a item or something!

dire beast doesn't give the beasts that come out names right?

that's why I wanted to know what color it was

I have checked the pterrorwings currently available in the locked zones, all but one which I believe is phased.
Unless actual evidence can be provided, this is, of course

It wouldn't be the first time we had someone post here attempting to perpetuate a hoax, unfortunately!

I'm guessing stampede bug tbh. Wouldn't be the first time!

Aww,.. I was kind of excited.. I want a skyscreamer so badly.
Oh well. Maybe it will happen someday.

I hope it was a bug/dire beast and not someone trying to trick the forum into believing a 'joke'...
