Yeah so the dinos got me back to wow.. but im one big question mark

[Champions of the Thunder King] quest linie.. only way to do this quest is to find chest or to kill rares? really hard to find any on a high pop realm..

my question is.. is there no other way to do it?

It seams like the rest of the isle is locked off to me.. so my guess is that i need to do this quest in order to go further on and eventually be able to kill the dinomancers?

Dinomancers aren't on the Isle of Thunder, they are on the Isle of Giants, located North of Kun-Lai summit. You can easily fly to the Isle of giants, and near where the boat on the isle is, are two groups of dimomancers, one on the beach, and one up the hill and to the right (with your back facing the water) also there is an FP further down the beach to the left (again with your back facing the water).

ahh grand thanks. Is the rest of the isle with the quest on also locked down for every one else ?

And is the quest a most do to proceed or can i just wait?

I -think- the unlocking is a server-wide war effort event. So what everyone does there contributes to their servers progression in unlocking content.
5.2-Isle of Thunder

I think you have 2 questions here, and since Makoes answered the dinomancer I'll do the other.

Champions of the Thunder King is a 5 man group weekly quest. The prequest is Setting the Trap, also a group weekly quest, and the prequest to that is Secrets in the Isle of Thunder. "Secrets" will tell you to get 3 shanze ritual stones (gotten from the final daily quest arcane trove, or from rares - on most servers people announce when rares spawn) and once you get them, you get "Setting the Trap" and group up. The stones summon the mobs you need to kill to do the quests.

I did the quests once. It's pretty much a pain unless you have a group ready to go. Unless you really need the valor points or the raid rep I wouldn't bother doing it every week.
