Since I never found a working spellchecker on expensive software, I don't think there will be a free one.

Although, I only tested them for german, my native language. And we have a very complacted grammar and stuff.

Hmm, well Firefox spell checks automatically, but I have no idea what it would do for other language regions. Would it still default to English checking? Hmm...

You can set Firefox to do spellchecking for any language whose language pack you have installed.

I'm using Google Chrome, and it's currently spellchecking in Swedish, which is pissing me off. Who writes in Swedish on the web?

I use firefox myself. The spell checking is nice, hehe.

Now that you mention it, I found it and yes, it's pretty useful.

I only have to remember to switch the dictionary, depending on if I type in german or english. :)
