or dolphin, or some other sea creature... Anyway, I was posting a topic in th emoutn forum about the turtle mount and how I wanted it before castaclysm because of all the water areas. Then I thought... what about an Apsect of (sea creature) for hunters... could grant the same abilities as druid's aquatic form. It would sure come in handy.

Hunters have been asking for that for a while now, iirc. They wanted it to be called "aspect of the fish."

If they did implement something like this, they'll probably do it like Cheetah: any damaging attacks will daze the hunter. :P Would be pretty cool though, Aspect of the Dolphin for a swimming speed increase for only yourself and Aspect of the Fish School for group buff. XD

But what happens if you are in Aspect of the Shark and you press the Space bar?

ROFL... anyway, why must it work like aspect of the cheetah? Druids don't get dazed when attacked in aquatic form. Shammies don't get dazed when using water breathing? (School of flying fish LMAO)

Druids don't get dazed in Travel Form and Hunters do in AotC. :P

Right... that's why I don't think Shark should be dazeable. (see how I created a new word there lol) I also feel Cheetah should get rid of the daze for just that reason. I've used Druid travel orm many many times to escape enemies. I think hunters should be able to do the same with Cheetah. I didn't really address that because we were talking about aquatic travel.

I love the idea, but blizzard makes a fair point that if we lost the daze component, we could kite anything or anyone to death with relative ease. The penalty that druids have while in travel form is that they can't continue to damage mobs as they traveling.

(I am aware however that you can still attack for small amounts of damage while in travel form, and many squirrels will be able to confirm this ^,^)

On topic:

I don't think it would have to be called aspect of the "shark/dolphin/fish/insert random aquatic creature" as we already have an aspect that is not an animal, aspect of the wild. It could also be called aspect of the sea/ocean/water ;)

Well, the Fonz is remarkably hard to impress then.

I think a great name would be Aspect of the Marlin, that's a fast fish. To me shark sounds tacky or flying fish.
And if everything else fails just name it Aspect of the Penguin.

Well, Aspect of the Sea, or Oceans doesn't sound too tacky to me.

No, I really think it needs a name of it's own. Especially since the part of the aspect which will come in handy is the waterbreathing aspect that I also mention as wanting. In fact, I'd take the waterbreathing over the speed boost. Maybe we get water breathing with a 10% speed boost in water, and no daze effect.
