On MMO-Champion. It seems like the Faerie Dragon mount is going to be the Alliance equivalent of the bat.

I think it'll be the 5.3 equivalent of the Grand Wyvern and Gryphon duo that we had in 5.1 - with the Bat being horde-only, and the Faerie Dragon being Alliance only.

I'm Alliance and I like bats too.


but heh, it doesn't matter, I guess, since like the 5.1 mounts, you only need to get them once and they'll immediately convert to the Horde counterpart if you log on your Horde character and vice versa.

Also, I expected Hippogryphs to get an updated model, glad I was wrong. Faerie Dragons are rather beautiful, and while I would love for updated Hippogryphs to happen, this makes it way more special. Bats and Faerie Dragons, both mounts that we haven't had before.

Not sure what to think. It's nice and detailed, but meh.. dragon skeleton and general model again. Doesn't look like the Faerie Dragon we've come to know.

Erm... yeah, I'll take the bat mounts over this.

Maybe I'll like it better when I see it in full?

People are theorizing that the dragon model and skeleton are placeholders, and I sure hope so. Actual Faerie Dragons look a lot more cooler and charming than your typical dragon.

Was about the post video. Damn youuu! Heh. I guess the vid makes it look a bit.. better? ;_;

a little bit... the curled tail and wings are pretty cute and the leg shape make me think of a night fury. XD

The video makes it look a lot better though the head is sort of freakish to me, like a bug's head.

They should've made this the 200 mount achievement reward instead of dragonhawk II, though I might change my mind once that model gets released. Hopefully it won't just be a dragonhawk with a hat.

Honestly I'd prefer the bat... I personally thought that the picture, when I first saw it, was a hoax, purposely made to look bad. Apparently not. /shrug One less mount I'll be freaking out about earning.

Apparently, according to a model dataminer, the mount itself switches between its colourations automatically, shifting between colours every.. few seconds or so? That's actually really cool!

I like the model I think it's cute!

Nope, I seriously doubt it.. This was the same thing for the Swift Windsteed, non-stone Direhorn and Pterrorwing mounts, Heavenly Cloud Serpents, flying clouds, etc. They make loads of colors and we only get one.

Well, two if you count the Horridon drop and the rep one.
