Looks like blizzard has finally seen fit to give us hydras. ....As companion pets!

I'd say, considering they're actually making a companion pet now, that the new pet model may be finished.

Gahz'rooki currently uses the blue classic hydra model.




Personally, I do like that coloration, as it reminds me of mythical hydras most, the aquatic, down to earth colour as opposed to the more vibrant ones, that is.

Just putting this out here, but. . .
It appears that, for the time being or possibly forever, that Gahz'rooki's summoning stone is actually purchased from the Darkspear Rebellion and of course, is tied in with the faction.

What could this mean? Well, it not only means that Hydras have something to do with the Darkspear Rebellion as a whole and could lead to some very interesting things, but also that the new Hydra model could be coming soon, and thus to not only show it off in the form of a companion pet, but to also get other classes a chance at experiencing a new model that hunters may get to enjoy in the form of an actual combat pet.
