Trust me. They can. But on a more serious note; this was unexpected! Now I can go re-tame some of the lovelies I had to let go prior 5.2.
I wonder what made them change their mind? Wasn't there a tweet reply floating around how hunters aren't supposed to be "crazy cat ladies?"

I highly suspect that Blizzard realized that the cry for more stable slots was only going to get louder with each patch and saw fit to revise their plans.

Or they were just messing with us.

Either way, YAY!

On a more serious note, this is fabulous for those hunters that have been aching for more slots, and hey, those who don't want to use them (like me) don't need to. Let's just hope it sticks around till live, eh?

This just completely made my WoW day!! There's so many pets I've had to "retire" due to lack of space - now they can all come home again!

And here I was thinking I wouldn't need the third spec because I couldn't possibly have a BM spec due to lack of stable space.

OMG, they not be trolling us or I'm going to strangle a GM.

Wooooaaaah holy load of stable slots batman! I don't even think Mia can fill all of those. XD Some of my alts will be able to but daaang! That's really cool nonetheless! I hope it stays!

I probably could use like 2 extra slots max...
Well, I never found it necessary, but I guess if they were able to program that, they just figured "eh why not" and did it.

I'll use it to its best ability by maybe finally not having to feel guilty when I see rare animals up that I can't rehome...

Wait... WAIT! I know! I'll tame every nether ray and have the cutest stampede in the game! >_>

I really hope this stays. Broke my heart when I had to let go some of my pets. :c
I want to go get back my old pets now. I miss them.

I'm... excited for everyone else! I found that being forced to choose helped me develop and maintain tighter bonds with my pets and I'm personally a little sad to see that go, but I understand that most others don't feel the same way, and I'm definitely glad nobody will have to suffer through stable space heartbreak anymore.

This right here for me, but I am genuinely happy for people who've been wanting this.

Woooo~ I've always clung tightly to but a few individuals, rotating them back and forth as my desires changed but for the stables who have actual -themes- this is gonna be so much fun XD

I'll probably only fill like, 30 slots and all 5 of my call pets though and use like, maybe 7-8 depending on colors of the individuals and family.

My pleasure! I tried to roughly recreate the actual experience of the discovery (though in reality, it took a bit longer for me to realize what I was looking at) so everyone could share!

That's insane.. I have a hard enough time keeping track of my battle pets..

This is where I remind myself never to listen to anything the Bliz reps say eg. no more stable slots.

Better not be a bug.
I'm scared to make a list all the pets I need to go retame in case it's just some weird glitch they'll fix.

All I want now is another row of bag slots for our banks and 5.3 will be my favorite patch since Cata hit! /pray
