I can't believe I was dead on about how many stable slots I actually needed. I always said around 5-6, and that's what it was:



Six exactly. Plus Cadmus, who is still mentally a part of my stable, whether he's allowed to be there by the game or not. I have no intention of filling the rest of the spaces. If it happens, it happens, but I am VERY happy with things as they stand here. The only other pet who might come back from minipet status is Circe, but she changed forms a bunch of times already, so I'm doubtful she'll grow again.

Kallimon's was both easier and more confusing to compile. He's only bringing back one pet:



So far, anyway. There are a few I was on the fence with, but overall, they either work out better gone or as minipets. We'll see what happens, though; he has a LOT of space to work with and some missing buffs to potentially consider.

Above the Blue Line are all of my current pets.

Between the Blue and Red line are old (and a few new) faves that I had to get rid of to make room for other pets. I would love to get these back,

Below the Red line are pets that would help me get one of every family (but not all-there are a few families I refuse to have just because I hate them). I can tame these and have them but I would not be super attached to them, they would be first to go if a new pet caught my eye.

Good god! I can retame everyone I let go and have about 15 spaces left.

First, my gratitude to Vephriel for the new grid. May Blizzard drop many black pets for you.

Second, I can finally think of getting one pet of each family! It's like playing Pokemon all over again! With shinies that don't take a milennium to get!

I allowed myself go a bit of a wishlist and skins that might be tameable one day! Where I couldn't find an appriopriate image, I added whatever was closest, like the bat - which is meant to be one of the new datamined bats; or the shadow phoenix which I would instantly exchange for one of the thunderbirds. And then, on the last slots I just let my imagination run wild and added some rather out-there stuff.

And yes, the pug is the only dog I will ever consider taming!

So here's the tentative layout. Names in bold are current pets, non-bolded names are returning pets, the two in red I might steal from my alt's stables, and the unnamed are pets I've wanted but haven't had room for. I still have five slots to play with too! Working on this has me so excited to add back some of my long lost pets!!

*nod, nod* I can certainly understand choosing Greg Street from a game mechanics perspective, but I think I'm going to have to go with Cory Stockton.

I guess the Fantasy Realms has a few fiefdoms beyond the regular borders. I did mention in the post that in a few families (Fantasy Realm is untameable families) I would prefer those untameable skins so I put them in anyway, but I didn't expect anyone to pay attention to the text anyway.

Oh my dear... 55 slots coming? *faints* I've not been paying much attention to things lately as I've been away in the real world and sick, again.

You mean, I'll be able to have all my kitties on my main Hunter? I feel an insane giggle boiling up if it weren't for the being sick part and not being able to giggle right. So glad I didn't release my Skoll on my main Hunter for the new dinos. I WILL fill ALL the slots!

Alright, initial planning phase was mostly to see which of my old pets I might consider taming again.

The first chunk are my current pets, which are stable for the most part, then the next line is pets I'll almost certainly be getting (or getting again) with the new space. The bottom has some vague possibilities to try out, but not very concrete.



Overall there's some old familiar faces that would be nice to have back, there'd be no reason not to if the room is there, but all the same I really don't want my stables to get too cluttered just for nostalgia's sake. I'll probably pick up the ones I was fondest of, then maybe try out some new pets that I never got a chance to and see how they work, but hopefully not go overboard.

I am not sure which raptor I want to get, though I don't need 4 of em XD
The "special" ones on my list are visual pets, the Oil hawk, Ghost wolf with sword, small beetle with black streak, and the toothed grub.
If Talbuks could be tamed I would tame the cobalt (Bach'lor) one, and I've always loved the dark gazelles.

Pets in the first row are the ones usually with me, or in rotation to be with me, then the order past that is random.

Oh, and the White chimera is Prince Lakma, whom has been very helpful to me always being ready for me when I need him on an AQ run to deal with the slim boss. I feel after all the times I've tamed him and let him go, he deserves a permanent spot.

Pinkish circle means they're already tamed, blue means they're to be added. Which means that I... won't be using any of the extra space at all. But hey, maybe I'll fall in love with a new wolf, or tame a bat. You know, reach the 25 pet mark for once. >.>

I love seeing people's stables here. It's fun to see what color schemes people lean towards, once they're all laid out like this!
