I was meaning more central boss of an expansion, like Illidan for BC, Lich King for WotLK, DW for Cata and Garrosh for MoP.

Although it would be funny to put Cataclysm's version of Rag's legs on that picture.

If he hadn't been summoned too soon, then maybe.....nah.

I thought there were elements of Ragnaros in there. The flaming runes, the smoldering edges to the wings...

That's just how Deathwing's wings looked like, and the runes were from the cover of Cataclysm.

Not enough C'thun. (Or Ragnaros, depending on who you see as the final boss of vanilla)
